I'm going to check on the 3 yo cat we trapped as a kitten. The new owner
still has not seen him, he's hiding behind a drawer.
He does come out at night and while she's gone. He eats, drinks, uses
the litter box, and last night he played with his toys!

Last week I bought a white siamese cross kitten from a lady. We met her at
her daughters house (Dont know why it couldnt have been hers?) The kitten is
very loving and a people-person-cat, it will quite happily sit on your lap
for hours, be rubbed, have his teeth checked and ...
Cat Eats String16 Aug 2005 18:27 GMT3
Our 10 year old Siamese mix eats string, plastic, thread, fringe, rubber
bands, paper, ribbon, anything she can find. She has done this for years. We
try to hide or put away anything we see that we think she might eat, but she
always comes up with something, even if it's a little ...

Can a cat be gay?16 Aug 2005 17:08 GMT2
My two cats, Patrick and Dale, have been together for the last 6 years.
Both were fixed and never showed any amorous interest in each other.
About 6 months ago we got Donald, a stray who found us. Donald has been
humping poor little Patrick at nearly every opportunity and I'm

they include them if they have such a negative reputation...
Also..what's the deal with all the barley, rice, and wheat germ ...

I had blood tests run on my cat for his upcoming teeth cleaning. It came
back with extremely high blood glucose (336, when the normal range is
70-150). During his cleaning the vet will be monitoring his blood glucose
levels. She said the other option is that this could be due to ...
A good lesson in why cats should not be left alone for extended periods of time16 Aug 2005 05:21 GMT6
I am one of those who believes that a cat should not be left alone for more
than a day because various emergencies can arise. I got a good lesson today
in how rapidly something can happen. Holly was just fine, and then this
morning she was suddenly favoring one leg. She tried to ...

A little background.  Buggy spent most of her life outdoors at my
mother's, including winters, though in her later years she just wanted
to stay indoors.  My mother and step-father's home became the "dumping
ground" for my sisters' cats when it wasn't convenient for them to care
