Raw egg update20 Aug 2005 06:24 GMT1
The two arguements against feeding cats raw eggs are the same as for feeding
humans raw eggs:
1) The glycoprotein named avadin in the uncooked "white" part binds to and
prevents absorption of the biotin found in the yolk. It is a known fact that
A clear message!20 Aug 2005 00:37 GMT2
For those who don't think that cats communicate, or have opionions

This morning, I let Meep out in our yard for a bit, as it was a nice,
sunny morning.  I had a horseriding lesson, so an hour later, I called
Shaved Cat Behavior19 Aug 2005 23:53 GMT1
I recently had my cat shaved, due to his long hair getting out of
control, and since bringing him home, my other 2 cats act like they've
never seen him before! They are hissing and growling at him like he's a
brandnew cat to the house. What happened?? Will the 2 cats realize that
Kelly Update -crossposted!19 Aug 2005 17:09 GMT23
I just spoke to Kelly on the phone, and she asked me to update everyone. She
had the c-section on Friday as scheduled. She seems to be doing well, but is
tired and the BF isn't happening at this very moment. It will, it's very
early on. She should be home Monday.

Foamy Urine19 Aug 2005 04:31 GMT2
My 4 year old kitty has always been one that urinates infrequently, but when
he goes, he goes big.  I don't know if he does this all the time, but I just
noticed that when he went, it was foamy in the litter box. I searched on
Google but didn't find anything with my search terms, ...
Help! My cat is freaking crazy!19 Aug 2005 04:29 GMT10
Our cat Mr. Moonshine, is a 10 month old male. He is well behaved for the
most part. He is an indoor cat with the exception that he is allowed to hang
out on the patio supervised, and is leash trained and goes for occasional
walks.
How to tell whether a kitten has a submissive personality?18 Aug 2005 23:02 GMT8
I own a dominant male dog and a very submissive female cat.  They get
along purrfectly.  I want to purchase a very submissive kitten because
I suspect that's the only type which will get along with my dog.  How
can I tell whether a kitten is likely to have a submissive personality
Fatass in rough shape18 Aug 2005 15:12 GMT11
Fatass, my CRF cat who is 16 1/2 years old, is now blind, and her BUN
and CR numbers are as bad as they were when she was first diagnosed at
the end of May.
Last week my wife noticed Fats was acting a little off, and thought it
Need suggestions for high calorie canned food for Fatass' assisted feeding...18 Aug 2005 14:54 GMT8
Well, aside from a handful of treats, Fatass has not eaten for two days
without my assistance.  (I am giving her about 40-50ml of IVD canned
per day.)
I need suggestions for the highest quality, highest calorie dense food
Guard Cat18 Aug 2005 14:43 GMT1
A little over a year ago I moved with my two 7-year-old brother-and-sister
cats into an apartment that already had two cats.
My female cat is "guarding" one of the cats that was already here, and is
not allowing that cat any access to food or the litterbox.  She only gets
One mean kitty... help!18 Aug 2005 06:32 GMT3
Hey guys... I've got a situation on my hands that may well cost me a

About 6 weeks ago I moved into a house with a friend. I've 2 cats, she

Disaster!18 Aug 2005 05:47 GMT5
Warning: This is a longish tale, and not a particularly happy one. So,
know that if you read on, but it has been bothering me and I feel the
need to get it off my chest.
A really cool cat showed up in my backyard a couple weeks ago. She's
