Cats and Carbohydrates24 Aug 2005 00:21 GMT1
I am confused about cats and carbohydrates. Many posters here have
stated that cabs are not good for cats who are carnivores anyway.
However, this is from an article at Petsmart:

Gnats?23 Aug 2005 17:23 GMT7
some kind of tiny fly-looking things won't leave the wet food alone...all
other food and stuff they'd be interested in is put away, but you obviously
can't put the cat food away or spray it with bug spray...how to get rid of
them?
Kitty Cannon Game23 Aug 2005 16:21 GMT21
Someone forwarded me this game link and apparently we have another game that
promotes the abuse of cats. The person who created this is obviously a sick
minded individual. http://www.ebaumsworld.com/kittycannon.html
Games like this should be shut down.

Hello, all!
I have a cat four years old with itchy skin. He goes to the
vet regularly and gets cortisol shots for allergies. But his
skin is still itchy, mostly the part in the place in front of his
Mini-blind cord ties?23 Aug 2005 01:14 GMT4
I've got mini-blinds. Currently, I leave them up (Hodge literally chewed
up aluminum ones; these are vinyl, so I'm sure he'd have a field day if
he could reach them), with the cords thrown up into the slats out of
reach (or he'd chew them, too). Can anyone recommend a gadget or
Strange behavior!22 Aug 2005 23:51 GMT5
My nine year old, male cat does something rather odd once in awhile. He
has a little stuffed animal that he will haul around the house (but we
never see him doing it) and leave it in different rooms, then he will
meow very loudly, kind of like a crying, mourning meow. When i go to ...
Cat Bites & Tetanus Shots22 Aug 2005 17:29 GMT6
I have heard that if you get bitten by a cat that you might need a tetanus
shot, is this true? I have the opportunity to get a tetanus shot for free so
I thought I would ask.
chronic constipated cat; low-residue diet22 Aug 2005 14:40 GMT3
On August 4th I brought one of the cats at work, Harriet, to the vet
because she was having trouble going to the bathroom.  She would end up
going outside the box, and her feces were very large.  She had the same
problem last year, May 2004.  Last year she had been kept overnight at
NEED FRONTLINE (flea stuff) DOSAGE AMOUNTS21 Aug 2005 22:53 GMT9
We're looking after a BUNCH of cats at farm and want to treat them
with FRONTLINE PLUS to control fleas and ticks.
Since we have to treat a BUNCH of cats I guess it's cheaper
to just buy a LARGE DOG DOSE.
Does a newly neutered male cat need to be kept separate21 Aug 2005 16:14 GMT3
from any unspayed females for any period of time post-neuter? I've
heard that viable sperm may remain in the male's plumbing for a period
of time and as a result, the cat should be maintained separate from a
female in
Home where Jim Willis lives investigated in animal abuse case21 Aug 2005 10:12 GMT1
Self-styled "animal welfare advocate" Jim Willis ignored animal abuse in the
home where he resided (on a front porch!) for six weeks.  Animal control
officers investigated more than 70 animals that were living in deplorable
conditions.  One of the articles below indicated that he ...
How to slow down my cat's eating?21 Aug 2005 06:35 GMT7
My cat eats too fast. No, She is not starving, she just eats everything
fast. :-) I am told this could be behind some of the vomiting.
Any experience with trying to slow down a cat's eating?
