Old healthy cat howling early morning -- owner can't stay awake during day!17 Jul 2005 16:22 GMT17
I see that his has been posted and discussed a lot, but I've not seen
much in the way of solutions...
Our cat is 18 years old and just got a clean bill of health.  No kidney
failure, no hyperthyroidism, etc.  The only thing the vet noticed was
Prednisolone cause heart gallop?17 Jul 2005 15:18 GMT5
I have been posting about TB, my poor boy that is battling chronic live
disease.  My vet had given him prednisolone when he first showed sign
of the disease back in October of '04.  He responded very well, eatin
all of his food and acting totally normal.  After a couple week
What celebrity is your cat most like...??17 Jul 2005 14:44 GMT13
I may have snuck you guys past the sign in page but its pretty
painless if it won't let you take the test without signing in. Plus if
you look at the bottom of the page and click on "tests" you will find
hundreds of these psychological tests that are pretty amusing to take.
Conan Cut-Off17 Jul 2005 10:50 GMT5
How about some sort of cut-off date for discussing Conan? How about August

Are there any common traits or qualities among tortoiseshell cats that
people have found? Thanks in advance.

Dmitri has CRF17 Jul 2005 03:11 GMT10
Hi all. I was kind of expecting this, just because of his age. He's 16,
and in otherwise great health. A tad of arthritis and his ongoing anal
gland thing, but otherwise, he's good. I've never had a cat live this
long, so in one sense, I'm so blessed. Plus, he's just such a ...
cystitis management questions16 Jul 2005 22:12 GMT9
Ok.  So Meep does have idiopathic cystitis, tons of struvite crystals
(and unfortunatly, almost too much blood to see them.  Another test in a
week).  This, despite daily glucosamine supplement, as much canned food
as she'll eat (not easy!), and a bottle-type waterer (not ...

Well TK's been on the diltiazem for 2 months, now, after
being diagnosed with HCM. At that time, his heart murmur
was rated a 3 - 4. He needed some bloodwork, today, to
Twin (my stalker cat) has a home!16 Jul 2005 19:58 GMT43
I wrote about him a few weeks ago.  A stray that showed up months ago
but only wanted to eat here and wouldn't let us touch him.  We let him
do that and then, a few weeks ago, he became Mr. Friendly one day out
of the blue and wouldn't leave me alone.  I couldn't step outside

were removed from an elderly woman's Virginia home after neighbors
complained of a stench coming from the house, police said on Tuesday.

Vomiting Cat16 Jul 2005 05:13 GMT8
Hi...My female cat, Kelly, has been vomiting every few days or so. She's 9
years old, and takes Norvasc for high blood pressure. She gets a half pill in
the morning, and a half in the evening - in her food. She can not be pilled -
it freaks her out.
Info request16 Jul 2005 02:37 GMT4
What age should a kitten get separated from its mum?  I thought it was
3 months, but I was in the pet shop today, just to buy some catnip, I
hate pet shops.  There was some adorable kittens for sale, would never
buy one anyway from shop, but I asked the owner how old they were and
Bengal: Fur on belly sparse?15 Jul 2005 17:34 GMT7
Our Bengal Louis seems happy enough. He's friendly, is eating, and
plays lustfully. He's had marking problems, but they seem to be under
control for the moment.
Tonight, however,  I noticed that his underbelly, from about the last
Update on TB (Liver disease), need some help15 Jul 2005 15:32 GMT1
Well, I took TB to the vet today and talked about his prognosis.  Hi
latest blood tests that were taken about a week and a half ago showe
that he was "borderline to mildly anemic" most likely due to th
cholangiohepatitis he and I have been fighting for the past 9 months.
