Sorry to intrude, but there is a post on this group *purporting* to quote
me, but it isn't. Sigh... Seems marys@catlover.com cannot resist a bit of
creative editing and crossposting. Thread is Re: Conan is home, and it seems
that at least one person has fallen for Mary's pathetic ...
Do you sing to your cat?19 Jul 2005 17:08 GMT10
If so, what do you sing and do they like it?
I sing (to the tune of Mellow Yellow) "They call me Stella Bella"
Delilah (by Queen) and Lilah (by Oasis)
anything that's on TV or the stereo. There are some songs they like and some
5 kittens in 5 days!19 Jul 2005 15:43 GMT6
My one year old cat delivered a stillborn last Thursday (it had big,
wide open eyes!), 3 kittens on Saturday (two died), I just found her
washing a new kitten now (early Monday) and she seems to be in labour.
That is five kittens with two survivors. I am freaking out!
At wit's end with cat19 Jul 2005 12:11 GMT40
This has been like a 2 year oddessy. We have a very loving, adorable
black cat. Likes to be a lap cat. Takes very good care of his sister (we
adopted litter-mates) and is overall a great cat. There's one problem.
He's REALLY needy at night and he's made our nights hell for the ...
Cat is terrified to go outdoors 19 Jul 2005 08:56 GMT19
My 6 year old cat who lives to go out and play each day and who has has
happily spent hours and hours sitting on a comfy cushion in the window,
refuses to go out since last Tuesday and is terrified to sit in the window
looking out, (even with the window closed) preferring instead to ...
Enough with the crossposting19 Jul 2005 06:39 GMT12
So the RPCA'ers don't want to read H&B stuff.  Well, what makes you think
H&B people want to read their posts?
Can you all knock it off please?

For Charlie: Won't you pour me a Cuban Breeze, Gretchen?19 Jul 2005 03:49 GMT8
This just reminds me of Charlie, even though the geographic location is
way off, something about those island summers and pot-smoking
revolutionaries.

Frazzled!19 Jul 2005 01:49 GMT5
Hi. I've been reading this forum for about six months, but i hardly
ever post.
One of my 3 cats is what i can only describe as a "tabby point
siamese." His name is Tucker. He's almost a year old. He was neutered
Something odd (OT)18 Jul 2005 18:31 GMT39
Something I find very odd on Usenet is that large porportion of people who
claim to have taken such interesting courses in school, etc, are so damn
boring here.  And moan about not having a job or a minimum wage job is all
they claim they can get.
My cat has been diagnosed with Steatitis - looking for cat owners/vets who have experience with steatitis18 Jul 2005 17:40 GMT29
My cat was just diagnosed with steatitis (yellow fat disease)
She stopped moving, stopped eating and had a fever.  Also, her white
cell level was very low.  An ultrasound showed the inflammation of the
fat.  We gave her antibiotics and vitamin E for a week.  The next blood

Female heat simulated intercourse solution?17 Jul 2005 19:31 GMT19
A friend's female cat was moaning and whining and she apparently calmed the
cat by sticking a glass rod up its vagina.  I'm not sure how long she did it
for.  Apparently the cat was calm after - perhaps for several months.  Is
this an urban myth or is it possible?  I googled it but ...
Loudmouthed Siamese cat vs. recent move to Scottsdale17 Jul 2005 17:30 GMT32
I recently relocated to an apartment in sunny hellacious Scottsdale Arizona
starting a new job.  Right now lows are around 80-90, highs around 105-115.  I
never leave him outside when I'm at work and always put out fresh water every
morning.
