Kitten eats vegetarian04 Jul 2005 19:58 GMT11
Kitten Omar discovered Morningstar brand veggie sausage patties this
morning.  He really goes crazy for the stuff so long as I tear it up in
pinky fingernail sized bits. He's just getting his 10 wk teeth.  Any harm?
This is not a substitute diet or anything that extreme.

I just got back from a couple of days of fishing out
at Cape Cod and checked to see how Conan was
doing. There's quite a mystery going on here.
Aggresive Cat and Kittens04 Jul 2005 17:04 GMT9
I recently rescued 2 male kittens (one about 6 weeks and one 4 weeks)
They were infested with coccidia and roundworms and had upper
respiratory infections. After weeks of nursing they are now healthy and
in my heart. I plan on keeping them but I also have 4 adult cats. One of

I don't expect anyone to read all the way to the bottom, but I put 3
excerpts on the top here.

Cars for Cats~04 Jul 2005 04:52 GMT24
Yesterday, I tagged along on a test drive of a brand new top of the line
Toyota Avalon. Very NICE car with a powerful engine, separate rear A/C unit
for the back seat passengers and ...  AND ... a cat door. Yes!  A cat door!
Check it out!  Just fold down the arm rest and there's ...
Kitty = 14.2 lbs, Kiki = 11.3 lbs04 Jul 2005 03:13 GMT14
This is about weighing a cat at home.
I just bought a Berkley fish scale (FS2). It weighs items up to 20
pounds, the weight range should be perfect for cats. It is a small
handheld device with a hook on it (the link is below in my

Romeo-no more vomit03 Jul 2005 23:20 GMT2
Well since I switched from stainless steel to ceramic bowls, I haven't
picked up vomit since June 21 and I sure don't miss it. I think the bottled
water helped also. I used to pick up about 3 times a week and he is a short
hair tabby. I love him to death and am sure glad this is ...
So what's happening re:Conan?03 Jul 2005 22:46 GMT277
As a UK poster I've been following the Conan saga, and am now completely
confused.
What is happening to Conan, is he being adopted, collected, rehomed or
what?
Adopt This Great Cat! 03 Jul 2005 17:09 GMT127
We have a gorgeous young male red tabby, neutered and vetted here. He has
been at the shelter a bit too long for comfort and will be "re-evaluated"
this Wednesday, June 29th. The shelter does euthanize cats.
We will not only pay his adoption fee but will find a way to get him to
Diseased Animals Processed into Pet Food03 Jul 2005 16:11 GMT10
I did not realize that diseased animals were processed into pet food. My
question for the group is, how harmful is this practice? I realize that the
thought can only make us shudder, but is such food, as repulsive as it is to
us, ok for pet cats?

"It's The Smell"03 Jul 2005 06:38 GMT1
I think some people collect cats just to get some love from something.
Cats can be very affectionate, but If a woman needs love, she just
needs to fix her self up a little bit, and tone down the cat traffic. A
man don't want a woman with 25 cats.
Gluttonous cat afraid of his brother, will no longer eat03 Jul 2005 05:04 GMT14
I have two Siamese cats about 7½ years old named Kodos and Kang. Kodos has
always been a finicky eater, his brother Kang has always been a bit of a
glutton. In fact, Kodos weighs about 8 pounds and Kang weighs in at 12.
Kodos developed an ear infection last week. There's a much ...
