Rescued mother cat10 Jul 2005 15:24 GMT13
Hello -
About 3 weeks ago, my husband and I rescued a litter of 4 kittens in our
neighborhood. After fostering them with lots of help and guidance from our
local VSA volunteers, they all have new homes.
Tracing cat lines10 Jul 2005 07:01 GMT1
A cat family tree?
Are there lines of cats that can be traced back over many generations (more
than 100 years)?
New Old News - Fluffy Cat Food10 Jul 2005 03:12 GMT18
I figured out that 4 Lbs of Dry Lite Cat food takes up more volume than
4 Lbs of Regular.
(A 4Lb Bag of lite, is bigger than 4 Lb bag of regular)
Now my question is, what is the fluff.

All of the multiple posts of Conan's eyes - showing "Dan" and now
incredibly, his wife "Nancy" (!!! amazing!!!) got me looking at
photographs on the web.  And to my amazement, I think I found one with
Mary's face on it!  If you look real close  you can see it....kind of,
Advice wanted for handling new kitten09 Jul 2005 20:54 GMT4
I got a kitten about 3 months ago.  She is now 6 months old.  I got
another 8 week old kitten last weekend.  They have very different
personalities.
The new kitten is extremely friendly - lets you pet her, she is
Conan's Rescue09 Jul 2005 19:57 GMT26
Just wanted to say a couple of things...
First, Mary, thank you so much for caring enough to put up the $200 to cover
Conan's adoption fee, Dan's travel expenses, leash and halter, and carry
case.  I think this *does* show "it's all about the cats" for you!
Flying Conan...another possibility09 Jul 2005 19:44 GMT43

I was just thinking that I know a few pilots in the Seattle and Socal
area through Usenet. Some of these guys are always looking for
an excuse to fly somewhere.

Thoughts go to our British friends....09 Jul 2005 14:15 GMT6
I remember during and after 9/11 the many kind thoughts from our British
friends that were written to message boards of all kinds...
And now, sadly, it's our turn to send kind thoughts to you...
ear mites09 Jul 2005 08:45 GMT4
BlankDoes anyone know a good product for treating ear mites in kittens who
are 8 weeks old.  The vet used Frontline flea control to treat the mother
cat but said the kittens were too young.  Told me to get a commercial flea
powder and use it on the kittens.  Would rather use a ...
Cats and Tylenol...09 Jul 2005 06:48 GMT12
I know aspirin is quite toxic for cats, but what about Tylenol?
As I've mentioned before, Louis fancies himself an alley-cat and likes
to eat inedible things (I almost want to get a stomach x-ray to make
sure there's no bolts or gobs of aluminum foil in there).
Kitten Urination09 Jul 2005 05:23 GMT4
I recently got my kitten about a month ago.  At first, she used the litter
box great, but only for a week.  I used the same litter that she was used to
but it didn't seem to matter.  She is now almost 11 weeks and is spayed.  She
is still urinating in one specific room in my ...
Getting to the truth of Premium cat food09 Jul 2005 01:32 GMT52
I don't want to start some huge, nasty debate, but there's something
that's been bugging me for a while. Maybe someone more knowledgeable
can answer this.
What makes premium cat food "premium"?

We have two relatively new cats, a 9 month old kitten and his onl
slightly older mother.  Both are egyptians.  The kitten is exhibitin
some erratic behavior, which we're not particularly worried about righ
now (he is a kitten after all), but which seems to be more and mor
