diabetic cat won't eat24 Jun 2005 04:10 GMT7
Help!  We have a 14 year old obese male tabby that was recently
diagnosed as diabetic and we're having a heck of a time getting him to
eat.  About a week ago he got very sick and was probably leading up to
this slowly for weeks.  A week ago he became very lethargic and
IS IT POSSIBLE?24 Jun 2005 03:51 GMT4
Since yesterday after Romeo threw up the canned food and completely ignored
it, well I started feeding him by hand. He eats in my hand and no throwing
up ALL day. Could he be allergic to the bowls? I have twin stainless steel
bowls, one for water and one for food.
Early AM cat problem???24 Jun 2005 03:19 GMT26
I am new to this forum, but thought I'd give it a try.
I have a 2 1/2 year old male siamese mix that recently began climbing
into the window ledge and playing in the blinds of our bedroom at
around 4:00am everyday.  He meows a lot too while doing this, but it's

Ping Dan! Re: Orange County, CA Kitty Rescue23 Jun 2005 18:21 GMT6
Dan, I can't get an email through to you. Nothing has changed with Conan,
but I need to be able to email you if it does, if you are still willing to
help us in case of an emergency.
I hope Harri is feeling much better, poor girl.
Kitty with the runs23 Jun 2005 18:21 GMT2
We have a rescue we got when he was 12 days old.  He's always had runny
poops, but the vet says no worms...  He's a strange cat in that he only
eats dry food--he won't touch any of the canned we have out for our
other three cats.  However, he will eat Gerber baby food, so he's been

Kitty Surgery23 Jun 2005 15:20 GMT22
I'm a wreck.  My kitty is having surgery at 1:30 today.  It's an
exploratory surgery to see what's going on.  She's been throwing up and
having diarreha (sp?) for awhile.  It started off not too bad but the
vet recommended I have xrays to find out if there was an obstruction.
Treating a cat after dental surgery?23 Jun 2005 14:56 GMT4
I took an elderly friend of mine with her cat to the vet the other day,
because the cat had a problem with his foot. The vet looked at the cat's
foot briefly, could not really come to a firm conclusion, but then in
opening the cat's mouth noticed he needed some teeth removed. So ...

Thought this was interesting.
I talked to my Grandmaw today, her daughter and son-n-law
trapped a cat. (several years ago) She said they just knew the cat was
going to kill itself trying to get out of the trap. They took him to

Managing pancreatitis22 Jun 2005 20:06 GMT18
I have a 15 year old kitty who has been dealing with chronic
pancreatitus for almost one year now.  We have had pretty good success
by managing it through Prescription Diet (I/D) and daily prednisone
ingestions.  We do not why he started having this problem but for the
Conan Cliff Notes22 Jun 2005 19:32 GMT170
Could someone please summarize in a few sentences the Conan story? (except
for Philip, he seems to be the culprit).  I just can't follow exactly what's
going on in all these posts...
I guess this is like back in High School when a friend bothered you for notes
Another kitten with 2 faces22 Jun 2005 17:57 GMT5
2 faced kitten called Gemini born in Roseberg, Oregon on Sunday 12th
June.  I'm not sure if it's simply being reported more often or it is
happening more often due to environmental toxins or inbreeding.  In
this case the owner claims to be breeding miniature cats, not sure if
