I just wanted to say thank you so much!
It was at your urging that I ordered my digital baby scale (I actually got a
killer of a deal on a brand new one on eBay for $11 US and $20 US S+H - and
it's as accurate down to the fraction of an ounce as the vet's scale!).

To all,

delighted to be able to provide a positive update. Please note that the
three of us are equally involved in Conan's adoption efforts and I just
Rescue De Jour29 Jun 2005 05:00 GMT2
I wonder if another Cat could be rescued as a direct result of the
people here.
There are so many cats that needs homes, I wouldn't begin to know where
to start; each one is just as deserving as the next.

I have a 10 year old tortoiseshell cat who is very small. I also have 2
great big monster tom cats living 2 doors down from me. My cat is well
loved and respected in our family however she cannot leave the house in
fear for her life. These tom cats take it in turns to sit outside ...
kitten with half eye closed29 Jun 2005 03:32 GMT3
Hi, one of my kittens seems to have an eye problem. It was the last one to
open his eyes(at 16 days, 3 to 4 days later than the other ones). It opened
up the same day I cleaned his eyes with a special water. After some hours
they magically opened up. But one of his eyes, which ...

We are thinking of setting one up since this group has become such a
wasteland.  It would be through an easily-accessible venue such as
Yahoo, etc.  Would anyone here be interested in participating?  If so,
please send me an email - address in header is valid.

How to clean cat piss out of a carpet...28 Jun 2005 22:51 GMT4
My wife and I broke down and let Fatty in the bedroom since her CRF was
diagnosed...Well, last week, I wake up to hear pissing next to the bed
- sure enough, Fats was too lazy to go downstairs and use her litter
box, so she decided to let it fly on the carpet next to my side of the

is sitting in his cage, having a snooze, sitting up,
washing his butt, looking around, scratching his
ear, and curling up for another nap.
Oblivious to all.
Cat is chewing my hair at night!28 Jun 2005 17:26 GMT4
I have a 19 year old tabby, who has become much sweeter and friendlier
in his old age!  During the past 2 weeks, he started a new, annoying
habit:  he chews my hair at night.  He actually tries to pull it out!
I shoo him away, put him on the floor, etc, but he comes back for more.
Ping, Rhonda!!!We Have Lift-off!28 Jun 2005 05:49 GMT11
Katherinejust called me back, and I just kept it simple and asked if Dan
could adopt Conan. She said yes, he can come in tomorrow or whenever and
just get him. She did not mention an application, or anything, just said to
have Dan ask for her.
