Louis the Pisser update07 Jun 2005 18:02 GMT1
(backstory - Louis = 3 yr old Bengal, neutered ridiculously early,
started marking while we were trying to integrate Henry)
We have both diffusers going downstairs, and a litterbox stationed at
his favorite spot. We've been using "Icky-poo-off" (iirc) which is
News on Hartz Flea & Tick Products07 Jun 2005 17:30 GMT8
IMO, this stuff is poison and shouldn't be used at all. While I'm
glad they're taking some action, Hartz should be pulling this
completely off the shelves now.

Cat tuned mean...what do I do07 Jun 2005 17:28 GMT29
I have two cats and one has gone completely insane.  She hisses a
everything and growls at everyone.  She also will bite if you stop he
from going outside or anything that she wants to do.  When she bite
it's not a love bite she's going for blood and will go after the face.

Warning: Louis likes to chase cars07 Jun 2005 07:38 GMT2
On our walk tonight, a car roared by our house. Louis crouched and
attempted a lunge, restrained by his harness.
Bad news if he ever gets out solo. Who'd have thought that cats would
share the stereotypical impulses of dogs?
Cat - litterbox. Change in diet?07 Jun 2005 03:50 GMT4
Howdy,
I have an alpha-male cat that sometimes doesn't use the litterbox.
I've been mainly putting the blame on him, and getting pretty fed up
with it. But the few times I'm around to see what is happening things
Why is...07 Jun 2005 03:32 GMT10
Tuna bad for cats?  I ask this genuinely--as I occassionaly give this to my
cats.  I read a couple of threads and the debating is rampant--not my
intention to stir this up again--asking sincerely.

Sally Forth Comic Strip07 Jun 2005 01:58 GMT69
Has anyone been reading the comic strip "Sally Forth" lately?  The story
line is that their cat "Kitty" is very sick, has an impacted colon, and
requires an operation that will cost $3400.  Sally and her husband are
trying to explain this their daughter and that they probably are ...
Have We Done Some Harm With Our "Too Rapid" Kitten - Cat Introduction?06 Jun 2005 23:25 GMT7
Firstly a bit of background.
About 3 months ago one of our two 3-year old Burmese male cats, who were
litter mates, died suddenly.  Our vet thinks that the cause of death was
some form of cardiac disease or stroke.  Both cats were best friends and

OT - 20/20 Segment06 Jun 2005 21:28 GMT7
Did anyone catch the 20/20 segment this past Friday about SPCA's "absuing"
power?  It was horribly biased, and defended scumbag backyard breeders who
had been busted.  It made me mad, I was yelling at the TV the through the
whole thing.

Greetings all,
1st thanks for all of the kind replies.  I have joined the Yahoo CRF
board and have been cruising the tons of CRF websites - all very
helpful.
noisy Kitty06 Jun 2005 12:41 GMT10
I just got a 2 month old female kitten from the shelter.   Shes adapted
very well to the house and my 7 month old female cat.   She is always
squeeking or chirping like a bird or meowing.   Its starting to drive me
nuts.   Shes healthy, spayed, eats good,  plays good and seems real ...
