Cat tuned mean...what do I do10 Jun 2005 03:45 GMT5
Well I have to say many of you are passionate about animals ...it'
great to see so many people care about living things that do not have
voice.
Also many people have commented about Willow and Lilly being declawed.
yay for Jasper!10 Jun 2005 03:38 GMT7
He is such a trooper. When I picked him up he looked so pathetic in his
carrier. He was clearly stoned from the anesthesia. The fur around his
eyes was all matted down because they use some ointment during surgery
to protect the eyes. And, he had bloody drool hanging from his ...
Can anyone help with info? I think my cat has had a stroke10 Jun 2005 01:07 GMT6
Waking up yesterday morning, finding my cat not moving sent all of us into
a panic. Blackie is 25 years old, and cannot hear any more, basically all
she does is pretty much eat and sleep. When we pulled her out of her bed
she had urinated in her bed, and her little body was just ...

Can't everyone just get along - cat introductions09 Jun 2005 23:08 GMT4
About 6 weeks ago I brought three 11 month old, herpes infected cats
into my house. They're all siblings that I found when they were two
months old. I followed all the instructions and guides about
introducing new cats to the resident cats (I've also done it twice

Indoor-only and outdoor cat in same household09 Jun 2005 10:31 GMT14
Is it possible (or common) to have an indoor only cat and one that roams
outside, in the same house?  We were thinking of getting a purebred indoor
cat (perhaps Burmese) alongside our existing 3 y-o moggy Khamun who goes out
as he pleases via a catflap.  One way would be, I suppose, ...
Indoor only cat shot suggestions and other...09 Jun 2005 06:39 GMT1
Hello--
I recently adopted three cats from the local humane society.  I was told
that they were current on all their shots.  Come to find out they only got
one shot--and those were due and none of the other shots like rabies,

Question regarding catnip vs catmint09 Jun 2005 04:27 GMT2
We've got a huge catmint plant in the garden. Ringo likes to lay down in it,
and fall fast asleep. He definately feels that this is HIS plant and if any
cat goes wandering through our yard (we have several acres of lawn very far
from any street, but we do have neighbors with cats) ...
JasperDuds hopefully getting his dental tomorrow!09 Jun 2005 03:09 GMT2
Well, we are sort of on-call for tomorrow. Due to my own health issues,
I had to put it off and if it doesn't get done tomorrow, it will likely
have to be put off again for another month or so. (I am having
Radioactive Iodine Treatment on 6/20...) At any rate, we had a full

Ok ... I found a cat.  Not the Bengal kitten or like tempered orange tabby
kitten I was after but ... that's what happens when you go shopping the
Bargain Bin.
In the past 7 days, I've seen enough colors, breeds, temperaments, and
I'm being stalked by a cat!09 Jun 2005 02:19 GMT27
(Sorry, another long post.)
This is a ridiculous problem but one I've never experienced before.  We
live in the kind of neighborhood where almost everyone who has cats
lets them out...a lot.  Then we seem to also have a large stray and/or
Kidney problem09 Jun 2005 02:03 GMT5
My cat black kitty recently stopped eating completely. I brought her to
the hospital after 2 days of not eating at all. The vet said she's has
swollen kidneys and extremely low body temperature at 98 degrees
(normal between 100 - 102?), and had to be admitted to the hospital
Anti declaw website?08 Jun 2005 20:48 GMT9
