It's about time! (cause of declining bird populations)13 Jun 2005 07:17 GMT8
One of the "excuses" we hear all the time from people who want to
exterminate feral cats is the claim that cats are responsible for
devastation of bird populations.  The Audubon Society has contributed to
this claim.

I'm having a real problem with my two cats. I really help someone here

I have two indoor cats: Riley, a neutered male who is 5.5 years old,
and Sukey, a neutered female who is 4.5 years old. I adopted them both
Shelters13 Jun 2005 06:22 GMT168
What is going on with all I'm hearing about shelters.
Maybe it's like a hospitol the germs end up drug resistant?
Sick cats coming out of them, and so on.
Seems like they could just evacuate the place (if it was possible)
eramites help13 Jun 2005 05:19 GMT9
I'm new to do group. Maybe for many of you my question is gonna be very
esay to solve but for me it's very difficult. I addopted a cat a week
from now he was a intact cat  so I took him to the one of those
neutering discount programs; there he contract ear mites as well as
Heat13 Jun 2005 04:54 GMT15
Pudge, with her undercoat, rarely seemed to mind the heat. Hodge the
Shorthair, no undercoat, seems to mind it even more than I do. He's been
lying in unusual places for him, corners and a lot in front of the
refrigerator (like he knows it's cooler in there and wants in). It's ...
Foxtail Weeds: Hazard to Cats & Dogs (see photos)12 Jun 2005 23:07 GMT1
My rescue organization recently paid for the eye removal surgery on the poor

Beware these weeds and the seeds they produce. They are extremely hazardous
Old friends, new enemies12 Jun 2005 22:58 GMT5
Sorry, but this is a rehash of something I think I posted earlier this
evening. I'm dealing with a new newsreader, and I'm not sure the
message got posted - it didn't show up in my reader. I'll cut to the
chase:

Lion Mutilates 42 Midgets in Cambodian Ring-Fight
Spectators cheered as entire Cambodian Midget Fighting League squared off
against African Lion. Tickets had been sold-out three weeks before the much
anticipated fight, which took place in the city of Kâmpóng Chhnãng.
feliway plug-in or spray12 Jun 2005 18:53 GMT9
I've read many of the posts on feliway. I'm still not sure if this is
the product for stopping the occasional urinations of my neutered
female cat Iris. She and her male buddy, Gemlie, are indoor/outdoor
cats with access to a cat door, hence no need for a litter box.  Iris
Swollen lymph nodes in URI cat12 Jun 2005 08:00 GMT1
I have a 12 month old cat, Gizmo, who has had an URI since I found her
and her siblings at two months old. When I recently took her in for her
1 year checkup, the vet said that these cats have feline herpes and
possibly calicivirus and that in this case, they were viral infections.
Why?11 Jun 2005 20:45 GMT8
Why is it that Yoshi watches with intent interest as I clean out the two
litter trays every evening, then as soon as they are cleaned out, he uses
not one, but both of them??

when myself or my g/f are around?
Last night they were crazy for over three hours when we had a visitor. They
drove us mad! I know they're only little, but when we go out for a while,
Cat tuned mean...what do I do11 Jun 2005 19:37 GMT3
Here's another update...my wife and I started to give Willow mor
attention since she has calmed down a bit yet not overwhelmin
attention.  Typically I would pass her and not bend down to give her
pat because I was afraid she was going to react badly yet lately I'v
Canadian Wellness11 Jun 2005 16:43 GMT10
I'm not at home right now, so I can't check....
How can you tell if Wellness 5.5 oz cans were made in Canada or the US?
Are they straightforward about saying where it was manufactured? Or do they
bury the info in a code?
