curious.

I'm going to be really busy this weekend (mom is coming to town) so I may
not be able to check the group.  Can someone email me (kelly at farringtons
dot net) and let me know if Conan gets adopted?  I have a lead on someone

Hi.  We've had a stray cat at our house for a month or so.  We decide
to adopt him because he is so sweet and follows us around like a puppy
We took him to the vet to be neutured etc.  and found out he has FIV.
Does anyone have experience with this?

My visit with Megan's Menagerie17 Jun 2005 17:47 GMT65
(Pictures to follow)
Since Megan gets a lot of crap from resident psychos here, and I
usually express myself so inartfully, I had decided to hold off this
post until now, when I saw this latest round of hateful posts. The
Cat Question17 Jun 2005 17:28 GMT24
One of our cats (an 11yr old black and white female) has started flicking
out her back left foot when walking.
She doesn't seem to be in pain but to be sure I took her to the vet last
week who said "nothing wrong". Watching her this week the problem is not
What is a petting stroke17 Jun 2005 17:08 GMT6
I heard Blink use the term, I've never heard it.
I've searched over 8 billion web pages and still can't find the term.
Since then, I'm thinking it's where you over pet the cat creating a
stress on the cats heart.

Since you decided to change your screen name, I've decided not to bother
reading any of your posts.
I never killfile, of course.
Happy blathering.

Abbey's ultrasound/no good news17 Jun 2005 05:27 GMT73
Abbey just got back from her ultrasound (echocardiogram).  She has no
heart problems; we were hoping she would have heart disease that could
be treated.  Her lungs are badly scarred from the chyle, which we knew.
She has a mass of about 1" x 3/4" that they cannot tell if it's a
For anyone following the "Shamrock Allergy Shots" saga17 Jun 2005 05:02 GMT6
This week we finished the "build-up" phase of the shots. Every
other day of increasing doses, then the formula changes, build that
up, then the final serum mix that he will have weekly until who-
knows-when.  He did very well on so many shots. He caught on early
Throwing up and low WBC17 Jun 2005 04:39 GMT2
We have heard tonight that the kitten we found a home for last year,
Ringo, is sick.
He suddenly started throwing up quite a bit. He is lethargic. The vet
took a blood test and everything appears fairly normal except for a low
