NewCat joined our household three weeks ago today. We introduced the two
slowly (7 - 10 days before opening a door between them), as all the ...
Ana is MUCH better!10 May 2005 14:36 GMT4
Ana appears to be recovering nicely from her ordeal.  Her appetite is back
big-time, and today she's been up and moving around.  She's very lovey and
purry.  I still have her in the bathroom, as my house has a lot of steps and
I don't want her playing too hard with the other cats ...
Where's a videocamera when you need one?10 May 2005 11:46 GMT7
I just came in from a few hours outside, and since it's close to
dinnertime (defined as 5:00 p.m. on weekends, according to Hodge), Hodge
was underfoot from the moment I got in the door. Literally underfoot. At
one point, I took a step forward, one of his feet got caught between ...

My 2 cats like to claw things(especially me!) I don't want to declaw them,
but I doupt I can afford to buy any Soft Paws. Is there an easier way to
keep them from clawing without training them?
Nuetering10 May 2005 06:44 GMT42
I didn't do a search on this particular topic because I wanted the
most up to date information. I will be calling some professionals also
but I wanted to hear your comments on what age to fix a male kitten.
My breeder is willing to keep him (my Siberian kitten) and have him
Pus or something else?10 May 2005 05:47 GMT7
OK, this may be a strange question, but I've never had a male cat before,
I've always had females.
The little stray I found just used the litter box to urinate and then
defecate (no straining, no pain, urine looked clear).
My Himilayan 10 May 2005 05:00 GMT3
If I shave my Himilayan, who has matts in his fur will it grow back the
same length?
My cat drives me up the wall but I love the little devil to bits10 May 2005 01:27 GMT3
Its a strange way to start a topic but I guess I'll start from the day
I bought Leo. I didn't mean to buy another cat considering that my last
one only lived for two years but I just couldn't resist him. He's a
ginger tabby and I've had him since November last year. He's five
Behaviour Change10 May 2005 01:13 GMT2
I've been a lurker for years but now I need an opinion on what to do.
My cat Butterscotch behaviour has changed about a week ago. He's a 5 year
old domestic short hair indoor cat.    He used to tear around the house,. be
very vocal at meal times, eat all his food very quickly and ...

have been feeding them carnation milk with karo syrup.  Any other

Can cats count?09 May 2005 22:04 GMT5
Not very high, perhaps, but I've noticed that Hodge waits for the second
scoop of dry food at night. Once it's in the bowl, he's ready to dive
in. He definitely expects no less, and seems to expect no more.
Oh My!09 May 2005 22:02 GMT9
It seems we have a house guest.  This little fellow followed my husband
home.  We gave him some food on the deck, like we do for all the strays, but
he stayed by the back door and cried and cried.  Then it started pouring
buckets here and he was huddled under the spa canopy but when ...
