| Good Toy | 13 May 2005 17:17 GMT | 8 |
As I said before, we've had a hard time getting Oreo and Gabe to play with any 'cat' toys. They don't like the balls with bells, the furry mice, the hanging ropes, anything with catnip... you get my drift! (Gabe does like laying on paper, never really figured that out) But, I'm ...

| Cat Walking - Short-term Flea and Tick Protection? | 13 May 2005 17:11 GMT | 3 |
My husband and I would like to take our indoor-only cats out for the occasional wander. I know about harnesses and walking jackets, but I would rather not use something like Advantage if we only take them out a few times a week during good weather.

| Visiting Henry... | 13 May 2005 11:56 GMT | 19 |
I had to surrender Henry because I did not have the time to properly integrate him into our two-cat household. Given the wildness of our resident Bengal, it may in fact have been impossible to do so. With Megan's help we found a permanent home for him, and I had a chance to

| My cat loves bugs... | 13 May 2005 08:58 GMT | 11 |
I hope you can help me! We live in a small, quiet nieghborhood and our 2 cats come and go as they please via a cat door. One of the cats has a compulsion to bring in bugs (moths and grasshoppers mostly) on a daily basis. I have locked the cat door until I can come up with a ...

| Cat with a predilection for eating inedible stuff off the floor... | 13 May 2005 08:43 GMT | 3 |
Louis the Bengal will attempt to eat anything that remotely resembles food. So far, this hasn't been an issue. Our own theory is that he fancies himself still wild, and scavenging, just to be contrary. The other night, I found him chewing on a capsule of 5-HTP that had

| Stinky's weird behavior history (long) | 13 May 2005 04:38 GMT | 1 |
Stinky is one of two cats at work (bookstore). Stinky & harriet were adopted together in February 1999. Stinky was 3 months, Harriet 1 1.2 years. Stinky was a typical kitten, loved to play and meet new people and try new things. When she was around a year old, she started ...

| Suspected broken tail | 13 May 2005 02:24 GMT | 3 |
Hi I would really appreciate any advice. My cat Missy came in the house Tuesday evening and we noticed she had a small cut under her eye. We cleaned this up and thought she must have been in a minor scrape with another cat. Last night she fell asleep at the foot

| Outdoor play for Indoor cats | 13 May 2005 01:24 GMT | 2 |
Hi everyone! I was wondering how many of you have indoor cats? I have three and they enjoy going outside on my deck, but I was frustrated by how to allow them that luxury and still keep them contained and safe. I tried a KittyWalk Deck and Patio, but was

| Take cat for a walk | 12 May 2005 23:33 GMT | 13 |
Nows here's something I could use, a good walk. I work hard and sweat, but this does not replace aerobics, getting my heart rate up. I think I will leash my cat and take him on a walk.

| cat ate plastic--now what? | 12 May 2005 19:00 GMT | 24 |
Wendell ate a piece of a plastic streamer that came off of one of his toys. Usually he just chews on this type of thing but by the time I got into his mouth he had eaten it. He has not had a bm since. (This was Saturday night, and it's Monday at 5 a.m. now). At what point do I

| Help! our cat is very sick...possibly liver related | 12 May 2005 17:28 GMT | 3 |
Two years ago our cat was found to have elevated liver values. An ultrasound and further blood tests did not pinpoint any reason. She, however, seemed healthy and continued to lead a normal life. A couple months ago she began to lose weight and to vomit occasionally.

| MY CAT HAS EXCESSIVE DANDRUFF! | 12 May 2005 14:59 GMT | 7 |
One of my cats a short haired black 5 year old has had a case of dandruff for a very long time. The Vet once told me that it shows up when they are at the doctor's office and are scared and nervous. Problem is that he has it all the time. I feed him Max cat food (dry- won't

| Vent/Rant - Persians | 12 May 2005 14:37 GMT | 54 |
Poor Persians. Bred for a feature which makes it hard for them to breathe and leaves them susceptible to upper respiratory infections. Purchased for their beauty and status as a "rich person's cat", but then neglected because they require so much work.
