Fancy Feast and ingredient listing18 Apr 2005 23:16 GMT4
After all of the recent threads and incite into FF and their
formula changes, I want to bring up one change that isn't going to
be popular. One thing I used to notice about FF was that they left
out corn and wheat. Well, folks, look at #3 ingredient (not

Picture of Tiger18 Apr 2005 17:23 GMT8
This is a picture of Tiger in one of his typical poses.  I don't know
his lineage (shelter cat) but he looks like a Maine Coon to me.  He also
weighs over 20 pounds but he has a very soft and rapid purr and his meow
is soft too.  I'll send a more flattering photo when I get one.
Aggressive kitty - need help please18 Apr 2005 15:12 GMT7
I'll try to be brief, but any help you can suggest would be great.
I have three cats.  Spam is the oldest, a 13 year old cat with hind leg
problems.  He doesn't play much anymore but has some special sleepy spots
he stays in, and he's in good spirits.  Our youngest cat Simon
Curious about Feral Cats18 Apr 2005 14:47 GMT4
Just curious - what is reward in rescuing feral cats. Do they become
more tame or "grateful" over time..Is there a cut-off point for kittens
- after a few months in "the wild" will they always be "different"..
Do ferals ever approach humans in public locations like parks, beaches
hyperthyroidism18 Apr 2005 03:59 GMT32
My 11 year old cat was recently diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and is in
her 3rd week of taking methimazole twice a day.
She had been doing well, but this past week she has begun vomitting
everytime she eats no matter what kind of food I try, even in small

Berry: A compelling case for premium pet food
By Julie Berry
Today's question is for conscientious pet owners. Why buy kibbles at $40
per bag as opposed to $5? Why pay eight times more for food pets like less?
GIANT CELL TUMOR OF SOFT PARTS on a cat, info needed17 Apr 2005 23:20 GMT1
my friend's cat had big nodes. Her local vet took them away and sent
them for analyze. They think it is "GIANT CELL TUMOR OF SOFT PARTS".
After less than a month, the nodes are back, quite small but slowly
growing and spreading. The vet is a bit confused and doesn't really

Feral cats invade my life17 Apr 2005 16:23 GMT16
Cat#1...

insulation is sagging and she holes up in there.  She is pregnant and
oughta be due any second from the looks of her.  I monitor her with a
*ON* Topic - Kitten Food17 Apr 2005 14:53 GMT6
Trying again, for the third time.  For those of you who hate the off-topic
flaming and profess to hold cats' welfare above all else...
Sammy just turned 1 year old.  However she seems to have a lot of Maine Coon
in her ancestry.  I've heard that Maine Coons keep growing until they ...
CAT KILLINGS IN WISCONSIN17 Apr 2005 05:27 GMT1
Did you know that they are trying to make it legal to hunt or kill (in
any fashion) feral and stray cats in Wisconsin? This would mean that it
would be open season on all cats without a collar. This evilness must
stop.  Please check out dontshoothecat.com

kitty's allergic reaction ?16 Apr 2005 21:02 GMT5
I have three indoor cats (ie: they don't go outside), and six outside
cats (ie: they are mostly outside, but they come inside, too), and I am
concerned about one of the outside cats, which is mostly feral, in that
I can't approach it without it running away. In any case, this cat ...
