| Unfolding Feral Cat Drama | 25 Apr 2005 16:19 GMT | 38 |
I trapped the cat per Megan's advice; she was right about hunger overcoming caution. I couldn't get a good look at the cat in the trap because she was crouching. So, I went under my trailer and ripped out a bunch of

| the lonnnnnnng wait | 25 Apr 2005 12:55 GMT | 4 |
I HATE waiting for vets to call with results, thoughts, diagnoses. But that's what I'm doing today, pacing and waiting. I dropped Carey off this morning so they could fit her in during the day (all appts booked), and now it's the waiting game.

| Authority canned food - opinions? | 24 Apr 2005 18:18 GMT | 22 |
Not looking to start another food war, just looking for opinions. Authority is the Petsmart store brand, right? I was doing my cat supply shopping today, and I thought I would look at the ingredients of some foods just for the hell of it. Authority actually looks pretty good. I ...

One of my kitties, Tribble, was diagnosed about 2 weeks ago with CRF. She had lost a lot of weight in a short amount of time, which is what precipitated a vet visit. Blood tests showed her BUN to be 64 and her creatinine 5.3. For now, we're trying to manage this through diet. ...

| Old Cat questions | 23 Apr 2005 23:34 GMT | 7 |
My dad's cat is at least 16 years old. He doesn't seem to be in any distress but all the hair on his belly fell out, and the skin on his lower abdomen is droopy (maybe he needs a little kitty truss). And he seems to be a little on the thin side.
