Cat stretching or what?? - Catstretch1.avi (0/1)28 Apr 2005 20:20 GMT7
Hi. We have a young black cat about 7 months old. Any time you place
her on a soft material like a blanket made of wool, she seems to very
slowly be pushing her front paws into the material. We cannot tell if
she is stretching or exercising or just feeling the material. Has
Judging a good cat sitter28 Apr 2005 20:04 GMT10
Any suggestions about how to judge whether a cat sitter is good or not?
I've interviewed a few, they seem nice. One does it after work, the other
is full time, plus she has references (but how can you trust those). They
both made cooing noises with cat and seem fine -
FIV treatment?28 Apr 2005 18:11 GMT2
Saw an interesting tidbit in Cat Fancy while at the vets today that
mentioned the success of "stampidine" in easing viral load and even
completely getting rid of viral load in FIV cats. Anyone hear more about
this?
Ten Reasons Why I Could Care Less About Bengal Cats28 Apr 2005 17:58 GMT1
1. Owning an interesting breed of cat doesn’t make you interesting.
2. If they were called "Krapinski Cats", would anybody brag that they have
one?
3. Who needs a cat that knocks over precious knick-knacks?
Cat marking things with it's mouth?28 Apr 2005 15:38 GMT2
ok hello,
I have a 4-7 year old Tortoiseshell, spayed, female cat named Bella. She is
very loving and friendly with just about anyone. She suffers from a heart

I recently got my cat spayed. She is a Russian blue and about a year and a
half old. Anyways she has always liked to bite but now she bites me all the
time, especially me feet. Can cats become more agressive after being fixed?

Orphaned Kittens and Dry Kibbles28 Apr 2005 04:23 GMT7
I have three kittens whose mother disappeared when they were three weeks
old.  They are 8 weeks now and doing really well.  I've always left a bowl
of dry kibbles with kittens at all times because kittens need to eat
frequently.  They have been weaned from their milk for more ...
Sleeping Beauty/Sleeping Cat28 Apr 2005 03:55 GMT17
My cat sleeps in the bed with me. He likes to sleep on top of the blanket
leaning on my side - this stops me from rolling over on him..But it also
stops me from rolling over when I want to. He switches from side to side,
there is no pattern to it.

using the carpet and not the scratching post28 Apr 2005 02:34 GMT10
One of our cats, Gabe, had a problem at our old house where he would scratch
the throw rug in the living room instead of his scratching post.  After
keeping an eye on him, we were able to substitute his scratching post for
the carpet and all was well.  Now, we have moved and the ...
Cats and Tissue Paper!28 Apr 2005 01:55 GMT6
Wondering if anyone else's cat love tissue paper like mine do?  After I make
the bed each morning I put a few pieces out on the bed for Tux.  Well he
lays on it for hours at time and especially loves to play in it.  He starts
stalking it and then he'll run and slide on it (it's a ...
