Purina Friskies cat treats09 Apr 2005 01:06 GMT4
My cats take to Purina Friskies cat treats like fish to dry land.
Buy two get one free, sucks when they won't even eat one.

I went to visit the kitties for lunch today, and while I was eating a
Twinkie, Elwood seemed to be really interested. He was pawing at it,
and trying to steal it out of my hand!!
Are Twinkies dangerous for cats? No,  I  am not going to make it a
Is it wrong to want another purebred?08 Apr 2005 21:48 GMT379
Going through old photos today, and came across a directory filled
with pics from when we were thinking about buying a Bengal (which we
did, and he's wonderful). Most are from this site:

If your Cats weighed as much as you....08 Apr 2005 21:28 GMT15
Based on the pic from CatNipped's post 'A Man and His Kitty'... I'd like to
pose the question, in it's own thread...
If your cats weighed as much as you do, would you fear them?
I, for one, would certainly pay ALOT more attention to them when they begged
Sleep deprivation and my new kitty08 Apr 2005 17:42 GMT32
I just got my first cat, my first pet actually, a few weeks ago.
She's about 12 weeks old now, and the biggest problem I am having is
keeping her entertained and managing my own sleep around that.
She's alone at home all day, so I imagine she sleeps a lot.  After I
First cat Chloe is impossible.08 Apr 2005 13:16 GMT6
I am at home all day with Chloe so whenever she needs to go she indicates
and I let her into the garden, leaving her out until she indicates to come
in.
She has developed a habit of coming in then, when I am not around
Bone Clicking?08 Apr 2005 07:51 GMT18
It's so weird.  My beloved cat, Hobbes, has this clicking sound when he
walks.  He's not limping at all and continues to run and play as if
nothing is wrong.  But this clicking sound is emitting from his left
paw (arm).  It kind of sounds like a bone clicking and has been around

Food and ANTS08 Apr 2005 00:46 GMT18
It is ant season here. Been the battle of the ants in my kitchen every
spring. I have to keep food in an airtight container (dry food), the
cats come to me when they are hungry, I put it out and watch them eat.
When they are done I put the food back into the container (a small

"posing" mood at the moment!
Cat showing her belly to a dog:  sign of friendship- or no fear?07 Apr 2005 22:25 GMT9
The funniest thing happened yesterday.  The weather was nice so I had
the slider door open to the deck, with screen in place.  My cat Ginger,
who is 11 and has never been around dogs, was looking out the door.
Along came the neighbor's dog, who is a huge Golden.  He is about 1,
Treatment for food allergy07 Apr 2005 21:56 GMT7
Anyone know the treatment for a food allergy in a cat. She is pulling
out large sections of her fur. I think I narrowed it down to banana
pudding.
Do these need shots?07 Apr 2005 19:05 GMT2
I am kitty-sitting for 2 declawed 8 yr. old cats who are indoors only.
But I have 5 in/out cats with all shots up to date. So can the indoor
cats cach anything from my cats or need shots for any other reason?
Their owner went to Kuwait and I will have these till Nov.  Thanks
Instant dislike07 Apr 2005 15:58 GMT3
I have had my cats for 4 & 5 years  and recently got a puppy Westie. My male
cat is fine but my female refuses to come downstairs and I am having to feed
her on the landing. Has anyone got any ideas as to how I can restore harmony
to my home as she has also started clawing at any ...
