Way back when Kami was diagnosed with CRF, her vet said not to get to
upset about it because it's manageable, and he said her heart or
asthma would likely get her first.  What a charmer!  He does tell it
like he sees it, though, and I appreciated that.

After reading many of the posts to Catnipped's survey, and having recently
acquired (the hard way) some experience on feline diabetes, I became curious
(and eager to learn more) about how closely people watch their cats' diets.

I recently adopted a 10 year old blind cat from the shelter..Just felt so
bad for the poor thing. I live in a quiet apartment, no kids or other pets
(well, a hermit crab). I'm a senior citizen, so I do not want a kitten that
will live for 20 years! Now it's just us two old ladies.

Some of you might remember my Tucker's weight-loss journey. For five
months, he's been on a diet to lose five pounds. It's been slow, but
steady, and this morning he weighed in at his goal: 16 lbs! Hooray!
