Trimming Claws30 Apr 2005 18:22 GMT32
I need some hints on the best way handle the cat while cutting his
claws. He is still skiddish and still will not go near my husband - so
this will be a one lady job.  :O)
Thanks
Cheap Cat Toys30 Apr 2005 17:26 GMT2
Are those cat toys made out of plastic with bells inside safe? After using
them, I don't think so.
A friend brought over a package of them, but I took it right away after my
cat started aggressively chewing on them. I checked the package, but did
Kitten Didn't Make It30 Apr 2005 17:23 GMT8
The orphan my friend found sadly didn't make it.  She knew it was a
long shot, appreciated all of your advice and information, and knows
she did the best she could.
How do cats get their markings?30 Apr 2005 17:22 GMT7
Are moggies randomly marked or does it depend on their parents markings?
My last cat was white all over with beautiful perfectly symmetrical black
markings on his face - he looked like Zorro in a mask.
I always said he was wearing the wrong tail as his tail did not really match
Cat perch *outside* the window30 Apr 2005 17:07 GMT8
I have a friend who is a cat lover but travels too often to own a pet.
There are many neighborhood cats near her home and she was wondering if
those cat window seats can be installed *outside* her office window on
the ground floor.  From what I've read about the cat window seats, ...
Invisible fence fouled...30 Apr 2005 05:52 GMT11
Peanut, my cat, learned to beat the invisible fence that I installed in
my yard.   He was using it for about 2 years with no incident.  Peanut
did not seem to care that he couldn't get out.  Then I turned down the
"power" a bit, so he would have a slightly bigger area to enjoy.
Ringworm question30 Apr 2005 03:57 GMT4

I've search via google and the cat faq but could not find an answer to
this question.

Best canned food vs. worst29 Apr 2005 21:17 GMT104
What is brands are best cat food, vs. worst?
I've skimmed through the Ann Martin book "Food Pets Die For"...so I'm at
something of a loss what to do!
What are top three wet foods...and what brands should I totally avoid.
Flo Control - Someone's inventive way of keeping "gifts" out of the house29 Apr 2005 19:08 GMT2
I just found this interesting page about how a guy rigged his computer
and cat door to prevent anything other than "Flo," and ONLY Flo from
coming into the house, including any gifts she may be bearing.

Buddha's Losing Weight!29 Apr 2005 17:32 GMT1
She's down to 16 lbs, that's two pounds from about four months ago.
She has been getting canned only now, not even any dry
treats.
Since she is 10 now, almost 11, I really want to help
Bandit Update29 Apr 2005 13:01 GMT3
For those of you that might still care...
Bandit went back today for her follow-up bloodwork.  Everything came out
normal, red blood cell count was back up, and she'd even gained some weight.
I could tell she's been feeling good from the amount of running around and
Can anyone help 29 Apr 2005 11:27 GMT4
One of our four furries is  having problems with cat fleas. He reacts badly
to such things as Frontline and programme and sprays. We comb him daily with
an "electric" comb and a "flea"comb and he also wears a 12 month type flea
collar but the damned little fleas still make a bee ...
BENGAL cats29 Apr 2005 06:19 GMT458
Has anyone here owned a good Bengal or ... even a Bengal mix?  I've met some
Bengals at Jean Mills cattery in Covina (CA) and was taken by the handsome
markings and their highly active nature.  But I'd like to hear from those
who have lived with one (or more) about their ...
Should we get a new kitten as company for our cat?28 Apr 2005 21:00 GMT2
We have a 3 year old cat Khamun and were thinking of getting a kitten to
keep him company after his brother Toot ran away a few months ago after my
fiancee and they moved into my house. He doesn't seem to miss him, and is
very affectionate and seems happy. He is in good health. ...
