Adverse reaction to Vaseline?24 Mar 2005 00:29 GMT1
Has anyone else's cat had an adverse reaction to Vaseline?
Kiki vomited and the vomit had a small amount of what looked like
blood in it today, after the Vaseline I gave her yesterday.
When I got the new jar of Vaseline home, I cleaned the package
Cats and sneezes24 Mar 2005 00:26 GMT7
Ok I know that there is likely no answer to this but I will ask anyway as it
is bothering the hell out of me.
When my husband sneezes, Stella will meow in a curt manner as if to say shut
up or you're annoying me. She will do this from rooms away if she hears him.
Sapphire is gone23 Mar 2005 08:47 GMT25
Sapphire seemed to be doing well her first day in ICU with the oncologist
but he called this afternoon to say she was having many problems.  I rushed
over to spend time with her before we had to release her from her little
body that was failing her.
very thick claws?23 Mar 2005 07:53 GMT4
I picked Tiger (almost 15) just before and had her laying on her back in my
lap.  I looked at one of her front paws, and her claws (the three middle
ones) were really big & thick.  They were very curved and looked like they
were digging into her pads.  After a minute or two of ...

Noel's losing whiskers23 Mar 2005 01:58 GMT3
Looking for a little advice… Noel seems to be losing more whiskers than
usual. I know it is normal for them to lose the odd whisker but I’ve been
finding one or two stray whiskers around the house each day for the last
week or so. I’m a little concerned. He’s had a rough year with a ...

Cats spraying22 Mar 2005 20:26 GMT1
I need help!!! I have four cats, they are 2 females, 2 males.  The
girls are 17 & 11, (no problems they are spayed) the males are 12 and 7

our new house in 1998, since about 2002 the males have been spraying,
Help!  Several basic cat urine questions from newbie cat companion22 Mar 2005 20:10 GMT6
Greetings all!
I have never had a cat my whole life, but a couple years ago, a cat our
new neighbors inherited with their house more or less adopted us.  He
just kept hanging out at our house, and we'd take him to his real home
For Bandit's Sake22 Mar 2005 19:14 GMT17
Just an FYI that I had to email a question to Kami's vet, and as an
aside I mentioned what happened to Bandit and look out.  She said they
use warm water circulating blankets for their animals, she had heard
about a burn case with the bags (Bandit?) and thanked me for the heads-
Vaseline for Hairballs?22 Mar 2005 18:58 GMT13
Is Vaseline, as packaged, safe for cats as a hairball rememdy?  Kami
usually has Pounce Hairball Treats, but sometimes doesn't eat them.
This evening I was trying a new way to start logs fires, which is
Vaseline soaked cotton balls (it worked, sort of).  Kami kept insisting
another cat living with mine22 Mar 2005 18:23 GMT10
I will be renting a room in my apartment and the lady who I may rent to has
a fixed and declawed kitty just like mine. My cat does not like other cats
but I thought since they are both declawed that they would not be able to
hurt each other.  Does any one have any suggestions on ...
Are Bengals Dalmations?22 Mar 2005 18:04 GMT3
A long time ago I'd heard that Dalmations were in a tough spot -
because of the movie "101 Dalmations" purchases were up, though the
new owners were ill-prepared for the amount of activity Dalmations
require. My grandmother had a neighbor with Dalmations, and those

My cat was admitted AGAIN to hospital last night. It's now the 4th time in
as many months.
She is (or up until now been diagnosed a CRF cat).
The symptons last night were that she vomitted once. What alarmed me was the
