Going outside - advice please29 Mar 2005 15:48 GMT21
Otis lived in a flat for the first 12 years of his life, and used a
litter tray.  He's now 15.  I now have a house with a small garden and
would like him to do his business outside, but he won't.  He goes into
the garden (no further as the fences are quite high and he won't/can't
Bandit is Better - I'm Wounded!29 Mar 2005 09:22 GMT54
Bandit got her stitches out, she's getting better *very* quickly.
She is certainly feeling like her old feisty self, and I have the wounds to
prove it!  I was holding her when the last stitch was taken out and she
jerked around, bit me down to the bone *IN* the first joint of my ...
Our spayed cat appears to be pregnant!!29 Mar 2005 05:08 GMT5
I'm not much of a pet person. My boys wanted cats really really badly,
so I gave in.  We bought the cats at a pet store while a shelter was
doing a 'thing' there... so they're actually from a shleter and were
spayed and neutered (1 boy, 1 girl) when we got them.  They're inside
Two cats on the bed...at the same time. (!!??!!)29 Mar 2005 04:41 GMT16
Wow. Luna is *not* the biggest fan of JasperDud. She mostly runs away
from him and when he gets too close or appears to be walking toward her,
she hisses, snarls, spits and swats before she runs FAST the other
direction.
How can you get your cat to go to the bathroom in the litter box all the time?29 Mar 2005 02:11 GMT7
My cat, a 3 yearold black longhair cat is potty trained. But lately she has
been going on a rug my mom brought back from Romania. I make sure that her
litter box is always clean, and she uses it, but she uses the rug also. How
can I get her to stop?
Eye issues - anecdote and possible tips29 Mar 2005 01:59 GMT5
Freaked out this afternoon when I came home from church and saw Tiger
squinting in one eye. He does this occasionally.. but this seemed a
little more urgent. After we got back from Easter dinner at my folks',
he was pawing at the eye, obviously uncomfortable. I called the

Susie Update - Advice Needed in re Socializing28 Mar 2005 02:38 GMT8
Hi,  I posted a few weeks ago about a little cat I trapped through a
trap/spay/release program, then didn't have the heart to release.  She
was living behind my dryer at the time.
Since then she has progressed to a point where she is living in a walk
Hind legs don't work28 Mar 2005 02:34 GMT12
Came home about two weeks ago and found my cat walking strangely. When walking, his hind
legs keep shifting from side to side like a skater.  Also he can't jump anymore.  I've
examined him, squeezed and groped his legs, his back and paws, no reaction from him.
Besides that he ...

Since there's been so much talk of obese/diabetic cats here, just

interactive toys with your cat(s) every day?
Humans are supposed to get aerobic exercise three times a week. Cats?
