the story of dave31 Mar 2005 23:28 GMT5
My wife and I have a 17 year old mixed breed cat called Dave. Despite
his age he's remarkably playful - he will chase a piece of string for at
least 5-10 minutes before getting bored. He'll also still turn up at my
feet with a variety of outdoor wildlife from time to time. He's a ...
Littermaid Threads?31 Mar 2005 19:13 GMT6
This is my first time here.  I have five cats, two registered and three
Humane Society.
I use the Littermaid LM900 and think it is great.  I have a few ideas
for improving it simply and cheaply at home.  I did a scan of the last
Why is Amber doing this?31 Mar 2005 19:02 GMT2
During the last week, Amber has started pulling out tufts of hair -
mostly from her belly.  Amber is 10 1/2 years old, spayed, a little
pudgey but not fat.  She is a typical domestic short hair, orange with
white paws, vest and belly.  Nothing has changed except a slight
Crazy cat with long memory31 Mar 2005 15:47 GMT2
I have sleep apnea so I have a breathing machine with a humidifier. A couple
of months ago I opened a new gallon of distilled water and gave 'Inky' the
little blue seal ring. He took off with it and had a dandy time playing
soccer.
Cat giving birth now! One Kitten Already Came Out Dead; What should I do?31 Mar 2005 13:27 GMT12
Hi, I need some advice pronto on what to do.
A stray pregnant cat has wandered into our backyard and started giving
birth to a litter of kittens. One has already came out dead. We cut
the cord off and buried it. It looks like she has at least 5 or 6 more
Wellness Cat31 Mar 2005 10:51 GMT6
A neighbor moved and left me their cat, she's 10 years old and is  normal
size domestic short hair. I had a cat when I was growing up, but don't
remember how much we fed it.
I was told that the Wellness brand is very good, it certainly smells better
Another Kitten Just Came Out Dead....31 Mar 2005 07:45 GMT6
Thanks to all who are are trying to help.
I just made her a cardboard nest box so she can get into it if she
wants. While I was making the box another kitten just came out dead. I
hate to call the city pound and have her picked up because they will
Cat Fecal Matter Problems30 Mar 2005 22:55 GMT4
Ok so we have three cats, none have been spayed or neutered. (I
complain about it EVERY SINGLE DAY to my roomates, but they aren't my
cats.) I live on the bottom floor, two floors away from my roomates and
thier cats keep using a 3x2 foot area behind my recliner to go #1 & #2.
Ping Megan - Need Help30 Mar 2005 16:04 GMT15
I know you're mad at me, but I also know you care about cats more than you
care about that (you've said yourself that you'll correspond with someone
you hate in order to help a cat).  Well, I need help for a stray.
This is the little gray cat with the too tight flea collar that I ...
Finally on the sofa30 Mar 2005 12:44 GMT3
We adopted Delilah and Stella in November 2003... Delilah was about 6 months
and had been a runaway and Stella was about 3 months and was found behind a
grocery store.
From the beginning, it was obvious Stella had not been given the chance to
Ear Cleaners30 Mar 2005 06:18 GMT6
Interesting note that will probably start a fight, I wondered if Kami's
selective deafness might be due to wax build-up.  I couldn't really see
anything, but thought "couldn't hurt."  There were three or four
different preparations labeled for both cats and dogs with different
Diabetes + Hiccups?30 Mar 2005 02:53 GMT5
Does anyone else's diabetic cat get hiccups?  Mine gets them quite
often, sometimes just for a few minutes, sometimes for ages.  He looks
OK while he's hiccuping (I can only describe it as hiccuping - no
sound just jumping a little at regular intervals), and sometimes
gaubster,steve crane and Hill's???29 Mar 2005 21:52 GMT4
I am a lurker and sometime poster who has been watching the whole
gaubster, steve crane saga the last few weeks. So what is the scoop? I
know that gaubster admitted to working for Hill's and Steve Crane works
for hills, so did they post from the same computer? From the same

Jackie has a seizure29 Mar 2005 18:52 GMT18
At least I'm guessing that it was a seizure. She was down in the
kitchen while I was making breakfast and insisted on some food.
Normally I can't even hear her when she opens her little mouth but she
was actually making noise and since I'm desperately trying to get some
