Another cat regurgitation question15 Feb 2005 01:04 GMT1
Last week I beat the crap out of a robber and sustained many injuries.
(yes he's in jail) Anyway, my kitty seemed to be very concerned for
me. When I lay in bed and tried to move and moaned, she would jump up
to near my face and look at me, over and over again.
All three cats caught nasal virus from vet14 Feb 2005 23:08 GMT9
One cat was taken to a vet pretty far into town for treatment of a mouth
infection.  I go to this vet clinic because of the reasonable prices.
But the number of animals they treat brings a severe drawback.
This cat, Cow Cat, got a round of antibiotics, an appointment to show up
Moses update14 Feb 2005 18:46 GMT8
Haven't posted in a while about him because he's doing wonderful, is still
putting on weight and is getting frisky and playful again. Instances of BM's
outside the box have also decreased. (KNOCK WOOD!)
Talked to the doctor a little while ago and he's pleased with Moses'
Need info on 2nd spay surgery!14 Feb 2005 18:28 GMT11
Vet has said I will have to sign 'waiver' for Ethel to have the second
spay surgery.  And (through the volunteer) I've been advised of all
the 'difficulties' and possible complications, even death.
The Vet say she'll 'do her best', but it's a difficult surgery and

I have a three year old cat, lives indoors and out, He will only eat dry
food but lately has been vomiting it back up, undigested. This past day he
vomited a large amount and since that time he has been listless and appears
to be ill. He spills his water dish and then hangs his ...
Feliway Success Story14 Feb 2005 17:13 GMT1
Since we arrived back in SoCal, the first thing I did in the temp
quarters was spray Feliway on all the corners.  Kami has adjusted very
well and is even doing better than she was at home, eating her dry
nibbles and all of her dinner.  She walked around like she owned the
Louis and Tiger outside in the snow14 Feb 2005 15:37 GMT2
We have a nice dusting of new snow (mebbe half an inch) tonight in
Minnesota. I took Louis the Bengal outside on his leash, and he
scrupulously avoided even going near it. He found all the dry spots
under the porch and the second-floor roof. Tiger frantically pawed at

kittens, vacuums and kookie behavior14 Feb 2005 07:40 GMT16
Hello All! My new kitten tigger is first of all adorable, but second of
all even more adorable because he thinks he can fight and win against my
vacuum cleaner. He gets all puffy and waggles his paws, spitting and
hissing. I know he's probably frightened but it's the cutest darn ...

Lab results in Hyperthyroidism?14 Feb 2005 00:21 GMT21
Hi all, probably looking for people to tell me what I'm already going
to do!  Anyway, I'm quoting here from Max's House (www.maxshouse.com -
thanks Phil P.!):  "The most common clinical signs of hyperthyroidism
in cats are weight loss, ravenous appetite, vomiting, excessive
Cat Blindness13 Feb 2005 22:55 GMT35
Hi, This is my first post please help or give any information. I have two
cats one male age 8 the other female age 3. Last Friday I noticed redness
in the male cat’s eye. Not sure if it was a scratch I watched it. I made an

Time left to live13 Feb 2005 20:16 GMT5
Is there some law where veterinarians can't give an estimate or range
as to how long an animal has left to live?
I recently took in my cat who has severe liver problems and with the
way the vet was talking it sounded like he only had a few months to
Cat Eats for Sake of Eating13 Feb 2005 19:59 GMT3
My husband and I have a 4 year old, spayed, female short-hair tabby (runt
of the litter). She is an indoors-only cat. For the past year and a half or
more she eats for the sake of eating. We feed her 3 to 4 times a day
(Purina One Hairball Formula). The vet told us to make sure we ...
So worried - what could this be?13 Feb 2005 17:06 GMT20
Well just as I thought things were finally on the up - so my beloved cat is
once again admitted to cat hospital.
Approximately 2 to 3 weeks ago she suddenly started vomitting one evening
and as it continued for several hours she had to be admitted to hospital.
