| Amber doesn't feel well | 13 Feb 2005 06:12 GMT | 26 |
Amber went to the vet yesterday for her rabies and distemper shots. This morning she didn't want her breakfast and she is sleeping all day. I assume this is not unusual so I'm not too concerned. Any comments? ---MIKE---

My mom's cats who notoriously do not like any canned food really like the new Meow Mix packets. So out of curiosity I looked at ingredients today while at the store. EVERY flavor, whether touted as chicken, beef or whatever, the first two ingredients are Tuna and fish. So really, ...

My neighbor, lamentably without Internet access, so I'm asking for her, thinks her cat has a cold! For a couple days her cat has been sneezing. She *did* take him to be groomed on Wednesday and didn't wrap the carrier in a blanket.

My 2 year old Maine Coone doesn't purr out loud. Just a slight rattle if I put my head to his body. Is this normal for this breed? Any ways to get him going if I can?

Thanks for all the advice in response to my questions about Bengals and Maine Coons. I've decided on a Maine Coon, and am in the process of selecting a breeder (and especial thanks to Orchid for the excellent article on how to go about this).

| The cat in the Americquest ad was FAKE!!! | 11 Feb 2005 23:25 GMT | 3 |
There's no way in hell any cat that size allows itself to be held by the scruff of the neck THAT long without inflicting enough damage on that guy to more than match all that Ragu on the floor in volume. PLUS, those bites and scratches are instantly infected.
