do cats really like strawberries?13 Jan 2005 22:54 GMT6
I mean, whenever my vet gives us something supposedly "palatable" for cats, it
smells not of mice or goldfinches (whatever they smell like) but strawberries.
What's that about then?
So - on the same topic, is there any point "sugaring the pill" for cats? I know

I've got a 4 1/2 year old American shorthair female cat (Indoor Only).  She
keeps having bad itching, and I can't tell why.  I keep fleas off of her by
regularly applying Hartz flea and tick repellent (the liquid kind that comes
in the plastic vials and is applied between her ...

Fat cat with a dirty butt.. suggestions..13 Jan 2005 11:07 GMT15
Henry's really taken to indoor life. Given our recent harsh spell of
Minnesota winter, I figure we've already saved his life.
He's the typical long-hair mutt with strong Maine Coon/Norway Cat
indications - the same coloring, ear tufts, huge mane and footpad
unlicensed veterinarian - report or not?13 Jan 2005 00:15 GMT6
A few months ago my cat was referred to a specialist for liver/stomach
problems. The specialist works in an office with other veterinarians
but I don't think he's in charge. When I was in his office I noticed
certificates and such things on the wall but I didn't closely examine
Getting ringworm off furniture12 Jan 2005 16:14 GMT2
I apologize in advance that this isn't a cat question per se. I do love
cats and grew up with them. Currently, I can't have any as my gf is
very allergic to them.
Anyway, this is about ringworm. And there have been some posts about it

Funny: Cats Suck Each Other12 Jan 2005 02:56 GMT3
I am curious; we have 2 kittens (twins practically) which love to suck
either on each other or on an older cat that also is with us. They love to
suck under the neck especially; they particularly love to suck on the older
cat's neck but that cat commonly doesn't like it and so ...

You do what you can, then you do what you have to do11 Jan 2005 21:47 GMT7
I've posted here before about my cat Isabel (Bizzy) who very often wouldn't use
her litterbox. We moved in October and for some reason, she seemed very happy
here; she could go outside more often and the litterbox problem disappeared
overnight.

Note to Self: Cats Neutered Really Early still spray11 Jan 2005 12:38 GMT4
Louis is a 2yr old Bengal. His breeders, in a fashion which is
becoming more acceptable AFAIK, neutered him at an early age (six

We've had the stray Henry in our house, in a holding pattern while
