| Breeding cats.. really need to cage males? =( | 29 Jan 2005 15:09 GMT | 2 |
It occurred to me, while surfing various cat sites, that if you bred cats (only experience with breeders I've had is acquiring our wonderful Bengal, Louis), you'd have to either have the males outdoors or in cages, or else they'd spray everything in site!

| My Cat | 29 Jan 2005 13:06 GMT | 8 |
My male, neutered cat is only 8-months-old. Up until Wednesday he was very playful and ran about the house. Yesterday morning he quit eating and drinking and did nothing but sleep. I woke up this morning and he still had not eaten. He usually spreads his limbs out when he ...

| Question for those that have had pets pass... | 29 Jan 2005 08:39 GMT | 29 |
What did you do with the body or ashes? The reason I'm asking is I have a dog that's terminally ill and I want to prepare ahead of time so that I have a plan. She's still hanging on (and doing ok), but the vet expected her to pass months ago. I'm thinking about putting her in

We've had one cat for about a year and got a new one in October. They survived through December with one box and no problems. In January, we moved the location of the litter box. The reason for this was because we kept it in a back room that was cold and by keeping

| Feliway - works too well | 28 Jan 2005 23:22 GMT | 7 |
I finally took my own advice and decided to get some Feliway diffusers. Antonio was being a brat and kept bothering Mia, the drama queen. This caused NewCat to get upset, as she hates it when there is chaos, so she was hiding. Bartleby was also being his usual crazy self. So, ...

| bah! oscar's losing weight ... a bit *too* fast | 28 Jan 2005 17:04 GMT | 9 |
I took Oscar to the vet for her second steroid shot (she had an "indolent ulcer" on her lower lip). The lip is doing great, but when the vet weighed Oscar, she was eight and a half pounds. That would probably be great, except that she was almost 10 pounds in early December, when I ...

Mingy is home! He went to the potty and urinated almost immediately. I ended up letting him choose whether he wanted to use his old one or a new one, and he used the old one. He later came back and lay down in the potty two times. I wonder whether

| wellness vs. canned tuna | 28 Jan 2005 09:36 GMT | 14 |
I got to thinking yesterday as I was sharing my tuna with the kitties, canned tuna can actually be had cheaper than cans of wellness food. What's the downside to feeding the cats straight tuna?

| changing food question | 28 Jan 2005 06:13 GMT | 3 |
I started to feed my kitten the Wellness brand food today, and now he has some very nasty diarrhea! Is this normal when changing foods? I only added a small amount to his normal food witch is the Iams brand dry food. Is this the right way to change food, or should I just throw
