cat will *not* accept oral medication02 Jan 2005 16:48 GMT15
sorry this is a bit long ...
Well,
I blithely said I was giving my cat oral medication - huh!!
she's on a course of medication which comes one week on one week off, and the
Bawling and balding.02 Jan 2005 16:28 GMT8
We've had our Felix-style rescue cat, Mambo, for about 6 years now and we
were told he was around  4 when we brought him home. He's only notionally
male as he had the op prior to adoption.
When he first came to us he was a bit (not to put too fine a point on it!)
single turd dropper - advice?02 Jan 2005 05:04 GMT8
I've had these 2 Siamese cats for the past 10+ years.  Though they both
eat the same dry food (and that's about all they eat), one of them has
always had the problem of dropping a single roundish turd here and

it was due to the stress after surgery. Just sounded strange to me.

before. Anyway the urine analysis showed a bladder infection with some
crystals. Apparently they weren't very many, but they are quite large.

I watched him recently and it seemed he wasn't able to chew it very
effectively; he'd try to chew it but some of the (Iams hairball prevention
formula) kibbles tended to drop out of his mouth in bits. He ...
Cat loves vanilla pudding01 Jan 2005 16:00 GMT2
My little sweetheart goes crazy for vanilla pudding.  When I make it,
her head pops up  and she wants to taste it.  I'm wondering if other
cats do the same thing.  It must be her love for sweets.
Is my cat psychic?01 Jan 2005 06:56 GMT6
Our cat Stinky always seems to sense when we are about to go out, no
matter how discreet we try to be.  She goes from looking very content,
to very sad.  Can she tell that we will be leaving her, if only for a
short time. Our vet has checked her over, and she is fine.  She always
