| My Cat lost his voice | 09 Jan 2005 16:16 GMT | 9 |
My adult neutered male who is usually very vocal, seems to have lost his voice. His meow which is normally high pitched and strong is coming out scratchy and soft. Do you think this is cause for concern? Are there any serious issues I should be on the look out for? I'd appreciate ...

I have a 3 month old kitten that has lost the ability to walk as she now has only limited control of her hind legs. The vet performed some x-rays and said that she is not getting enough calcium and provided the appropriate medication (1 Ml Calcium twice daily, 1 Ml Pentavite

Give your cat their medication BEFORE vacuuming! I decided to vacuum this morning and now I can't find Ana anywhere, and I need to give her her medicine. I know she didn't escape the house, she just hiding. I did see her pre-vacuuming.

| Cat iris color changing | 09 Jan 2005 02:30 GMT | 7 |
I just noticed that the color in one of my cat's eyes (in the iris) has changed slightly. It's gone from green to a brownish green. (The other iris is more purely green.) I have looked on the web at photos of eye diseases, and certainly his eye looks nothing like any of the photos

| Cats and kittens | 08 Jan 2005 08:33 GMT | 7 |
I'm on day #4 introducing two kittens to three adult (18 month old) cats. I haven't had any catnip out so far, but I'm debating getting some out as a treat for the adults now that everybody is being friendly. Thoughts?

| In heat at ~4 months old | 08 Jan 2005 00:12 GMT | 29 |
Well, my Scarlett seems to be in heat. She's aggitating Shamrock (neutered male, neutered 3 years ago) and doing the rolling on the floor thing and her vagina looks swollen (ok, I don't know, but I can see it now and I used to not even know where it is on a female cat).

| Driving Cross Country | 07 Jan 2005 07:39 GMT | 21 |
I will be moving to Oregon next week from Iowa, and I'm bringing my 2 cats with me. I am planning to drive as much as I can before stopping for the night (12-14 hours). I'm worried about how the cats will fare for such a long trip. One of my cats hates the car, and I do have a
