Shaina keeps scratching behind her left ear a lot and there are two
little scars there with clotted blood.  they are tiny.  she had
something like that behind her right ear, but it went away.

Older cat's behaviour11 Jan 2005 03:52 GMT1
My cat is about 16 years old.  He's become very thin in the last year.  A
few weeks ago, about the time we put up the Christmas tree, he stopped going
into the living room.  It's the only area int he house with carpeting and he
used to sleep there all the time.  He doesn't even go ...
Needed-declawed cat in LA for educ. video11 Jan 2005 03:37 GMT4
I'm going to help shoot an anti-declaw cat video with some major anti-declaw
groups. They will use the video to help educate people about why they should
not declaw their cat. We will educate them about how to teach their cat to
scratch appropriately or other humane alternatives ...

signed up for their discount program. I recieved a card to give to the store

on their sides?
Cat Food10 Jan 2005 20:37 GMT11
There is a recurring theme in this newsgroup about what food to feed
one's cats. I am interested in this subject and would like to solicit
all opinions.
So far I've been feeding Squeaky Friskies. After about a month he tires
cat behaving badly10 Jan 2005 20:20 GMT9
"Calvin" moved in with us about a year ago; he just turned two.  He is a
very intelligent cat, which is charming, but he's a terror at night.
About 4:00 in the morning he starts raising all kinds of heck-
scratching doors, tearing into trash, attempting (with some success) to
Kneading (and more) at night10 Jan 2005 19:30 GMT3
Frank is neutered and is about 18 months old.  He has been sleeping
overnight with us for a good while now.  He doesn't go out much because
the weather is extremely cold.  We try to give him blocks of playtime to
tire him out, especially at night before bed.
cat anemia10 Jan 2005 16:25 GMT1
I have an 11 yo male cat. 2.5 years ago, he became sick. I noticed he was
losing weight, so off to the vet we went. From August to January my cat went
from 16 lbs to 8 lbs. He was deteriorating. It had our vet baffled.  All he
knew was Aaron was extremely anemic and had a bad heart ...
Kirkland cat food - question and warning10 Jan 2005 16:14 GMT2
Does anyone here feed their cats Kirkland Premium dry cat food? For
those who don't know it's Costco's store brand. I've been feeding it
to the stray cats in addition to Cat Chow. I realize it's not the best
food but it's better than nothing which is the alternative. Anyway,
kitten falling10 Jan 2005 04:19 GMT7
Last night our kitten fell about 20 feet from an upsairs landing. He
limped a bit, seemed to register pain when I touched his side, but
after a nap of 2 hours, seemed to be fine..He chased a laser dot for
about 10 minutes, ate and walked with no limp.
my cat poops on the floor10 Jan 2005 02:02 GMT8
Hello can you help me fix a problem or offer any suggestions.
I have a 17 year old cat that has been pooping on the floor for the last 3 years.  Most of the time she does it in her very clean litter box, but sometimes she goes right next to it. Maybe two times a week she'll have ...
HELP!!! My 2 year old is ruining an expensive leather couch10 Jan 2005 01:37 GMT78
She pees on it constantly. I have cleaned the leather, used a citrus
based cleaner to drive the cats away (We have a 3 cat household) and
done various other things including pherenomes...no good!
Scooter did not do this before we bought the couch. She will not pee
Dufus, how he is doing09 Jan 2005 18:38 GMT5
For those that have followed my postings since about last June, and since
his operation to remove the almond, I thought I'd kinda update his
condition. He is doing well, very well. I can't remember when I've seen him
look so good and apparently feel so good. He eats like a ...
