Cat not eating much again12 Dec 2004 15:18 GMT1
I guess we are gonna go thru this again. After these months of feeding Renal
LP and the cat eating it, about the time the vet said he could go off of it,
he decided he didn't want it anymore, ok no problem, time to start finding
something he likes anyway. He just last weekend had ...
Laser pointer toys12 Dec 2004 14:55 GMT13
I had a guest visit for Thanksgiving who adores cats, and Hodge is just
the kind of aggressive, independent male that he goes for. I got out the
laser toy, pointed it against an opposite floor, and all I heard for
days was how I was going to damage his eyes! It really was kind of ...
Cat has scabs12 Dec 2004 04:37 GMT3
Little scabs keep popping up on my cat.  They're all on his back.  I used to
think they were caused by his scratching, but the latest one is in a rather
unlikely place for that to be the case.  He's an indoor cat.
Does he need to go to the vet?
a spaying problem12 Dec 2004 00:18 GMT2
I have always had all of my animals neutered, including a number of
cats.
I believe it is the responsible thing to do and good for the pets'
health.  I know all the arguments for spaying, but I have a good friend
Kitten Born With Spinibifida11 Dec 2004 20:48 GMT8
Hey Everyone,
My cat had a litter of 3 kittens 4 weeks ago.  2 of them are healthy
but 1 was born with Spinibifida.  She had thrived so far even thou she
is much smaller, and we are bottle feeding her.  I was just wondering

Cortisone cream for Feline acne11 Dec 2004 17:41 GMT10
On the advice of the group, I purchased some cortisone cream for my cats
acne that has gotten rather bad.
Any advice on how to use it? Same dose/frequency as humans? should i rub it
in? will it be dangerous if she licks some off and ingests it?
Update On Sick Kitten11 Dec 2004 16:29 GMT16
I'd like to thank the members of this group who were so
helpful to me and Meerli when he was sick.
As it stands now, he is *much* better! He gets his antibiotic
drops for two more days, he's alert, he's now eating and
Experience with Inflammatory Polyps in Ears11 Dec 2004 15:52 GMT2
My 11 month old cat has developed a polyp that originates in the bulla
and has grown into the outer ear, puncturing the ear drum.  Apparently
this is common in young cats.  The only way to fix it is $urgery which
has a high incidence of unpleasant side effects.
ONE-EYE...........R.I.P.11 Dec 2004 04:14 GMT13
Hey, sorry I haven't posted in a while. Been busy and haven't really
been encouraged to post this. After not seeing OneEye in a few weeks
and fearing the worst, I finally saw her a few weeks ago. I had no trap
available to me. She was not very energetic and she looked terrible. So
Feral cat still afraid of my hands...10 Dec 2004 23:25 GMT7
Hey there,
About 5 months ago I trapped a black, female kitty approximately two
years old.  She was quite feral.  I had been feeding her for many months
near my office and she never let me pet her.  But every day she was
Gentle, Docile, Calm Breed (s)?10 Dec 2004 20:33 GMT14
I haven't posted here in years, but when I did, it was usually seeking good
advice ( and I certainly got lots) regarding my dear elderly cat, Blue. I'm
very sad to say that Blue died just several weeks ago, on Nov. 20th-04, of a
massive stroke, which was due to his recent health ...

those with cat/bird experience.
I've been around cats pretty much my entire life and have had a fur unit or
Introducing 2 adult cats to each other - Advice please!10 Dec 2004 10:33 GMT24
New member to this forum; thanks in advance for any replies!
I was recently married (11/27), and have started to move in with my
wife.  One of the bigger obstacles is the fact that we both have cats;
mine is an 9-year-old aggressive female half-Siamese breed that has
Water fountains10 Dec 2004 05:24 GMT1
After reading posts here about water fountains, I
bought a Drinkwell at Petsmart.  Our two kittens
(in a separate room because they're FeLV+) took
to it almost immediately.  That was a two weeks ago
