Cat bubble21 Dec 2004 01:34 GMT7
Hi. I was told about a plexiglas bubble that you insert in your window
like an air conditioner and it locks in. Then your cat can walk from
inside out into this bubble and look around, up/down/all directions;
birds can land on the top. There is also a plexiglas window that slides
Update, re: Continuing Complications21 Dec 2004 00:37 GMT2
Chablis seems to be back to normal.  Energy level is back up, appetite is
normal, limp is all but gone & she's wrestling with her little 'brother'
like a champ.  My catch prase this morning has been: "I'm glad you're
feeling better, STOP scratching the furniture!"

Water for outdoor cats20 Dec 2004 20:13 GMT12
I routinely put out water and food for a few feral cats who live in a
wooded area near me.
In winter, the water freezes fairy quickly. I often find the bowl
frozen with a depression in the ice where the cats have licked it. I
Heart Murmer and Spaying20 Dec 2004 19:47 GMT1
My kitten, Lucky, was diagnosed with a heart murmer at her last vet
appointment which was about a month ago. She's aproximately 5 months
old now which means I'll be taking her to the vet soon to get spayed.
All I was told is that it would possibly shorten her lifespan a bit :(
static!20 Dec 2004 16:13 GMT6
Maybe this is an annual thread, I don't know, but I'm wondering if anyone
has ideas about minimizing those awful static shocks that become so common
in the winter. I don't want Rosalie to get afraid of touching me!

Dufus back to the vet19 Dec 2004 23:07 GMT14
Had him in yesterday because about 3 days ago he stopped eating and
drinking. He was also throwing up frequently. The vet checked him all over
and did a blood test which came back good. Only thing a little out of whack
was the gluclose number, not bad but slightly elevated, due ...
Little fits19 Dec 2004 22:11 GMT32
My ten-year-old, very overweight female spayed cat began having little fits
last August. She had recently been diagnosed with hyperthyroid and put on
Tapazole, for what that is worth. (Yes, that's right, hyPER, and she is fat.
They said it happens sometimes.) At the time she was put ...
Continuing complications19 Dec 2004 17:31 GMT4
Hi..I'm new to this site.  I have 2 kittens: 5 month old Chablis & 3 month

have a drain & head cone...and antibiotics.  She seemed on the mend.  But
last night she started limping again.  It's quite ...
freeze dried chicken treats19 Dec 2004 08:21 GMT12
A couple of months ago I was ordering a prescription online from
drugstore.com, and checked out their pet supplies.  They had a package of
freeze dried chicken treats made by Three Dog Bakery (I think) so I ordered
them.  Harriet went insane over them.  After her first taste, those ...
Photos [Somewhat OT]19 Dec 2004 02:42 GMT10
I've tried again to take Mico's picture, and so far only one out of about 10
shows him with his gorgeous blue eyes.  I've used a disposable camera, and a
Polaroid.  The other pictures I've taken have redeye, or weird yellow blanks
for eyes.  Anybody have any advice on how to take a ...
