Does A Cat's Color Affect  Personality/ Disposition?22 Dec 2004 16:27 GMT13
I'd read an interesting article several months ago that my sister sent/
emailed me  which related a cat's color to their personality.
For example, it said that white cats were often relatively "calm" in nature.
I know nothing about a cat is necessarily 'etched in stone', yada- yada, ...
depressed cat?  Help!`22 Dec 2004 02:40 GMT4
My oldest cat died about a month ago.  My other cat is still acting very
strange.  He eats about 1/3 of what he used to eat.  He doesn't come in at
night and when he does come in he just lays around.  He hasn't killed
anything since the other cat died and he killed something every ...
Berries is home!22 Dec 2004 01:16 GMT5
I got a call from my sister--Berries is home from her dental! She is
doing very well and already went to her food bowl. The good news is she
didn't lose any teeth! They had tartar buildup but no extractions were
needed. Lucky girl. I'm so happy.
flea solutions?22 Dec 2004 00:03 GMT9
Were going to be moving out of our house and it will be vacant for at
least 3-4 weeks before someone else moves in. We have a slight case of
fleas on our cats, so I suspect they are in the carpet too. I'm trying
to determine the best method of making sure that we eliminate the fleas

Hair loss21 Dec 2004 19:14 GMT5
My 7 year old female brown long hair tabby started leaving tufts of hair
all over the place during the last week.  Surely, she loses hair every
now and then, but this time the hair loss seems to be excessive.  Let me
give a few particulars in order to aid in your giving me some

Kitten Has Slight Redness Around Eyes?21 Dec 2004 18:06 GMT1
Hello group,
I've noticed that my new kitten, Dove, has a slight to moderate redness
surrounding the outer layer of his eyes. His lids. I noticed this before* I
brought him home last Friday and I asked the woman I got him from about it.
Good thoughts for Berries, please21 Dec 2004 14:08 GMT7
My childhood kitty is having a dental today. Berries is 17.5 and lives
130 miles away with my parents, so I'm sitting here, frustrated that
I'm so far away. About 2.5 years ago, she had a cleaning and a couple
of teeth removed. This fall, the vet discovered that a few more teeth
Cats and getting on counter and tables -- healthy???21 Dec 2004 13:10 GMT77
A friend of mine moved in (first roommate in years), and with her came

18 months (part simese part something else -- crosseyed) and one about
5 years old (calico and something else).  Also my place is rather
Spaying Question for Owners Who Spayed Their Female21 Dec 2004 06:28 GMT46
What I'm wondering is, how does the cat's behaviour change afterwards?
Are there weight gains/losses? I'd appreciate any thoughts on this. My
female Cinder is due to be spayed in March and i want to know what to
expect.
Temperature21 Dec 2004 05:30 GMT5
Is there any ballpark for what temperature range is comfortable for
cats?  I prefer it cooler then most people, 17-18 degrees is about right
for me, but when my girlfriend is home we usually have the temperature
up to 22 or 23.
News from O'Malley21 Dec 2004 03:53 GMT5
Not many will remember my recent efforts to adopt a beautiful Burmese boy
called O'Malley. I will try o make it brief.
I couldn't keep him, because my primary single cat Xena was totally
determined NOT to accept him. O'Malley went back to his owner, but soon
Laptop computers and cats.21 Dec 2004 03:51 GMT11
A recent article blamed the overheating of the scrotal region by laptop
computers for illnesses and incidence of infertility due to reduced sperm
count..
Does anyone have a similar infertility experience with lapcats?
Dufus's operation21 Dec 2004 03:51 GMT8
Well after the weekend of laxatone, the object had moved out of the stomach.
The vet tried an enima to dislodge it, no luck. So, exploratory surgery was
done. The object turned out to be a damned almond, a whole almond. I musta
dropped it on the floor without realizing it. And he ...
