| cat pregnancy question | 27 Dec 2004 22:01 GMT | 7 |
I've got a new unhomed cat that showed up on my deck about 2 weeks ago. Usually it was for her daily nighttime "fast food" - she'd eat and disappear. But now tonight she finally let me pet her and she also let me lift her into my arms. I wanted to bring her inside, because she

| Kato gone to kitty heaven | 27 Dec 2004 21:26 GMT | 15 |
Kato, my Lilac and cream calico, has moved on to kitty heaven after 16 good years. I will miss her. She was up and down over the last year and a half but she still had mostly good times. Goodbye old friend. It may be many years before we meet again. A verse from Robert Frost

| Faddy cat | 27 Dec 2004 18:02 GMT | 1 |
I thought that all cats liked catnip and chewies, don't they?. As Chloe our new acquisition (see earlier recent postings) deserves treats I bought her both. She won't touch either. Funny puss! She won't eat her breakfast until I get up or dinner until we have served up and

| prevention: good exercise/play/entertainment | 27 Dec 2004 17:51 GMT | 23 |
On December 7, I bought a canister of helium and some mylar balloons, filled two of them and attached a nylon string which hangs 1 or 2 feet above the floor. The first pair of balloons is mostly deflated but still holding up. My male cat is still playing with the string.

Howdy all- I have a roughly four year old cat that I originally adopted at about 9 months from the SPCA. When I first brought her home, I found that she would occsionally like to eat cheese, egg, or other "cat type" human

| How much moisture does a cat need? | 27 Dec 2004 06:28 GMT | 6 |
Chloe is always at the dried food but never drinks water. However she goes for the Purina pouches and licks up the gravy or jelly but ignores the meat so we end up throwing it away. So is she getting enough liquid? Also, how do you get a cat on the scales as she won't allow being ...

| How to increase muscle & fat in kitten? | 26 Dec 2004 08:55 GMT | 12 |
I wonder if anyone in this group would be so kind as to give me some advice with regard to increasing muscle and fat in one of my kittens. I have four of them and they are all about five months old (same mother). The last one to be born remains clearly "boney" and "skinny" in

| Iams cat food | 26 Dec 2004 01:32 GMT | 6 |
Can anyone enlighten me on Iams cat food? My 2 were always feed Nutro and did okay on it. My husband got two free coupons for Iams and bought the bags (two different flavors) at first he said we would only feed them it as snacks. To make a long story short, they are now eating it ...

| Getting 2nd kitten as companion to my kitty | 25 Dec 2004 17:16 GMT | 4 |
As some know, we have rescued a sweet 6 month old kitten and have named her Isis (why? Because like all cats, she knows she is a goddess and is to be worshipped!). So, now she wants to play. ALL the time. When I'm sleeping. She

Some of you already know what I'm going through with one of the new kittens. She is small, has on-again/off-again problems with her eyes gooping up and I now have three different ointments for her, one with steroids. The one with steroids was prescribed this past

| Good news at last - Happy Christmas! | 24 Dec 2004 18:55 GMT | 2 |
If you read my recent posts despairing of my CRF cat's renal problem and recent crisis you'll recall how worried I was when she refused to eat the diet after her hospitalisation. She was eating nothing at all and I gave her Whiskas for about a week just to get her to eat.

My 10 month old male cat meows constantly as he walks from room to room. There are three cats in the home Chevy 10 month male, Sally 3 year female siamese, and Bill 21 year old male. This cat is much like a dog as he replies and or comes to me when his name is called. He listens to ...
