| Crossed paws | 08 Nov 2004 16:40 GMT | 8 |
Both of my cats (Tiger and Amber) frequently lie on their stomachs with their paws crossed. It's almost always with the right paw over the left paw. Have any of you noticed this? ---MIKE---

| Cats and Christmas trees | 08 Nov 2004 16:18 GMT | 19 |
Our Maine Coon, Reagan, will be a year old early December. He has never seen a Christmas tree before. He decimated our herb garden when we brought it inside. He has a fondness for cilantro, by the way. We are concerned how others have dealt with the tree situation. Any ideas

| Feces poisoning | 08 Nov 2004 16:12 GMT | 1 |
It seems that about every other year a cat story like this makes the news. Usually it occurs in some NYC apartment. Not this time though... http://apnews.excite.com/article/20041106/D866412O0.html

Long story but hopefully helpful I adopted a 2 yr. old Maine Coone/Tabby mix from a shelter that was at PetsMart about 1 1/2 years ago. She was a shelter kitty all her life. Up until last month I was going to finally give up and take her back. I

| Feline Feud and I Need To Leave Town | 08 Nov 2004 05:16 GMT | 2 |
You may remember my recent post about my two cats (both spayed females from the same litter, 1.5 yrs old) who recently started feuding. Feuding may not be the best word because it's more a matter of the one sister having decided she wants nothing to do with the other and growling ...

| Neutered male hair loss | 07 Nov 2004 22:56 GMT | 2 |
I have read other posts in re: to fur loss on the back legs, but the posts mainly pertained to female cats. We have a male longhair that is licking and has hair loss on the insides of his back legs. Nowhere else, just on the insides of his back legs!

| Need trapping help/encouragement | 07 Nov 2004 18:24 GMT | 13 |
It's over three weeks now that Antonio's been missing. I have 5 traps set around the area. I've moved some of them around a bit, trying to cover the area as best as I can. There has still been no sign of him. I've been out looking for him at different times of the day, I've ...

| Very scary incident | 07 Nov 2004 02:18 GMT | 11 |
I'm still shaking about this. My 5 month old foster kitten Ana, the one who has PSS and had seizures, nearly died today. I'm here on the computer and I hear all this banging around coming from the basement. Not really concerned, as I have 7 cats in

One phone call. That's all it took. (Okay dozens preceded it to secure the phone number.) I just got off the phone with a wonderful woman who runs a feral relocation program who knows all about One Eye! She is just as

| New fish tank. | 06 Nov 2004 16:38 GMT | 6 |
I am about to setup a Marine Fish Tank in my hall, about 30 inches wide, and 24 inches deep, sitting on a 24 inch deep stand. Do you think the tank will drive my cats nuts and really annoy them? I really want it, but will avoid if it is cruel on the cats.

| Cats and computer monitors | 06 Nov 2004 09:37 GMT | 13 |
Upon arriving home yesterday, I discovered that my 17" flat-panel monitor, keyboard, and speakers had disappeared from my desk. Looking closer, I found them in a heap behind the desk. The keyboard and speakers survived; the monitor is no more.

| Does the second-guessing eventually fade away? | 06 Nov 2004 07:04 GMT | 24 |
Thank you everyone for your words of sympathy and comfort. This is the first time I've lost an animal (except a childhood dog) and also had to make the decision to end a life. It almost seemed easier to me in the first 24 hours. Now I somtimes find myself second guessing. ...
