How to stop cat from peeing on me!17 Nov 2004 03:51 GMT7
I'm on my third pair of cats.  All the previous ones were females, but
one of this pair is a male (neutered).  After about 2 years, the male
jumped on the arm of my chair while I was snoozing in front of the TV
and let loose on my arm.

Are There Legitimate Flea Treatments on Internet at a Discount-?16 Nov 2004 17:29 GMT5
Forgive me if this has been covered, but i wonder: with all the talk
about canadian prescription meds, etc., is there a cheaper source for
one of those flea monthly treatment packs (applied at the nape of the
neck)-?  For kitties-?
WHEW! Looks like no diabetes16 Nov 2004 17:08 GMT9
The blood tests showed normal. Going to check again in 3 weeks to see if
still normal. Vet wants to put him on a low calorie diet anyway. So now the
problem is the changing of his food, never easy. Going to use Walthams Royal
Canine low calorie, or whatever it's called. Anyway ...

I have a five year old cat that for about the last year has frequently not

Vomiting & other fun things.16 Nov 2004 14:32 GMT4
Last year, right around this time, we found a cat eating bird seed at
our bird feeder and trying to sleep under a small pine tree in our
backyard.   What's ironic is that he looked identical to our cat that
we had for 18 years that had just passed away 5 months earlier.

As I said, I caught Lumpy today. She is currently with the vet. He will look
ater her Saturday AM. If it's something they can do quick, they will treat her
tommorrow. If not, she will be housed until Monday and treated then. The

Sugar was 214. Vet is flushing out kidneys and is going to do a more

Please pardon the intrusion... I am not a regular poster here. My question is
this... My cat, your basic neutered shorthair orage striped tabby has what I
think is an unusual reflex when I am petting him or giving him skritches.
When I get to his back end, just in front of his ...
feral kitten -- shots immediately or wait15 Nov 2004 21:09 GMT3
Hi -- I've just taken in a feral kitten. A friend had been feeding her
outdoors for a few weeks so she's reasonably tame, but was traumatized
for the first 24 hours indoors. The cat's about 2 and a half months
old. Obviously needs to go to the vet soon, but she seems in good
