Cat moves water dish19 Nov 2004 16:30 GMT17
Hi,  my cat is 3 years old and she has discovered the jpy of dragging
her *full* water dish around the kitchen until it spills EVERYWHERE.
I am sick of cleaning up the puddles everyday - and also fear that she
may not be getting enough water, as she seems to spill it right after

I'm looking for a advice from ABY/SOM breeders...
I have a one year old, abyssinian var catkin (father somali, mother aby).
She is excelent cat and I think about breeding her. But, as far as I know
there's a few controversy with it.
Boundary19 Nov 2004 15:10 GMT1
Has anyone used Boundary to keep a cat away from an area? I'm wondering
if it would help get Hodge to stop using the one corner as a latrine . .
. I haven't had a chance to do much research on it, so I don't have any
info. Will later.
World's Best Cat Litter?19 Nov 2004 03:12 GMT10
What have experiences been with World's Best Cat Litter?  The dust from
clumping clay litter is driving me nuts in more ways than one, so I bought a
bag of WBCL at Petsmart on Saturday.  I like the lightness and the lack of
dust, but it smells strange (even before the cats used it). ...

Anyone with experience with cats with cavities?
what is the treatment/solution, how much does it cost, is it painful to the
cats.
Female cat urine vs. male cat urine18 Nov 2004 18:06 GMT14
Can anyone tell me, if you have your cats neutered/spayed, are there any
noticeable difference in the strengths or kinds of smell of the male as
opposed to the female, or are they much the same to the human nose?
Thanks.
Update: Foster Kitten18 Nov 2004 14:32 GMT3
A while ago I posted about a tiny, severly malnourished 8 week
old kitten I had found wandering my neighborhood and had taken in.
Foster, I said.  Adopt him out to a wonderful home, I said.  Get the
basics of training on him, get him habituated to his harness and leash
foster kitty barfing worms18 Nov 2004 01:59 GMT17
Brief background. This kitten was rescued early last week with his sister.
Best guess is they were about 8 wks old when rescued. His sister had
pneumonia, an infected foot and an eye infection. The vet said the little
guy had an eye infection and what might be a ruptured globe. They ...

Do you know of a cat food that has Menhaden Herring, but without beef, chicken, lamb, or turkey?

Associate Pills with Treats?  Ha!17 Nov 2004 21:59 GMT2
Kami is smarter than all of us, I think.  I had to take her to the ER
Monday night because she had what appeared to be a UTI, but you never
know with all her other issues.  They did a spot check on her creat.
and BUN and it was the same as it was in July, so nothing going on
Flaxseed oil ok for cat?17 Nov 2004 20:19 GMT6
My old cat has dry scabby skin, especially on her back near her tail.
I've tried various remedies and foods without success.  If I put
anything in her food like olive oil or flaxseed oil she won't eat the
food so I've taken to loading a 1 cc syringe with about 0.5 mls of
Update on Lumpy17 Nov 2004 18:59 GMT6
Not good new. The growth on her neck was cancerous. When they checked
her more thoroughly, they discover that it had spread throughout her
entire body. She was already on borrowed time. Yesterday she was
euthanized. At least her pain is over. This sucks. I take small
Broken leg advise 17 Nov 2004 14:57 GMT2
I have a 1 year old Siamese cat that has broken his radius bone near the
foot.  How long should I keep him from running and jumping.  He's a real
wild child and has been contained for 5 weeks.  The vet took his splint off
at 3 weeks because his leg skin was very raw and irritated ...
Trooper Challenge Help?17 Nov 2004 05:38 GMT38
I rescued/adopted Tigger, subsequently renamed him Trooper, when he was 6
months old. He had been abandoned in a house with a broken-legged dog.  I
loved his sweet personality when I adopted him, but discovered this mild
demeanor was due to being sick. After getting well, he ...
