Catfood prices...23 Nov 2004 05:43 GMT18
...here (Portland, OR) have gone through the roof!  Dog food as well.
I tried to buy some Nutro - $7.98 for a 3 lb bag - $2.66/lb.  Freaking
ridiculous.  Royal Canin was $9.88/3 lbs.  I'm going to switch my cats
to Purina One if they will eat it - based on past experience they

constipated cat22 Nov 2004 14:25 GMT10
This cat has a problem with constipation.  He's had to go to the vet twice
now for expensive $100 enemas.  He's on special canned food as directed and
being encouraged to drink water but it keeps happening.  Is there a home
remedy for this?

a problem I have never seen before.

me the better part of the morning. I try after he's eaten and
has settled down.
Dilated pupils FeLV kitten21 Nov 2004 21:27 GMT6
I posted a while back about a litter of FeLV+ kittens that were dumped at
the shelter.  The good news is that two tested negative on both snap tests
and IFA.  They have been adopted.  The other three were IFA positive.  They
are all doing well and we have placements for them ...
Cat whiskers21 Nov 2004 20:11 GMT9
While curled up in my lap, I noticed that Patches, our sweet female white
and orange barn cat, had split ends. Her right side whiskers are full, long
and complete. Her left side whiskers are broken off about 1/2 to 1 inch from
her face and have split ends. Her companion, a tuxedo ...
All picky eaters21 Nov 2004 16:14 GMT1
Send your unwanted food to Hodge. He will eat anything. Gladly. Even
non-food items.
(Okay, he's not supposed to eat just any type of food for weight and
crystal reasons, but he would if given an opportunity.)
Inappetance21 Nov 2004 07:50 GMT4
Our 10 month old female cat, Mollie hasn't been eating as much as she
usually does these past few days, and today, she has hardly touched her
food.
I have been trying to tempt her with canned tuna, and a few prawns.  She ate

Cat Sleeps on Me19 Nov 2004 16:48 GMT22
My Siamese cat Mico is unusual.  When he sleeps with me, it's usually on my
chest, or on my side.  If I recall correctly, my other cat used to sleep in
the inside crook of my knees, or somewhere else on the bed.  Anybody else
have a cat that sleeps like Mico?
