Eww what's coming out of kitty's bum?26 Nov 2004 19:33 GMT15
I noticed yesterday that where my two 10 week old kitties sleep on the spare
bed there is what looks like a load of rice on the duvet. This morning
little Teal'c came over and said hello with his tail up and as he turned
away I saw a white wriggly thing coming out of his bum. I ...
tapeworm and cats26 Nov 2004 17:29 GMT1
Hi...
After doing some research on the Net, I figured out that my cat had
tapeworms.  I called the vet today and they gave me two options:
either to make an appt or jus pick up the medicine.  I decided for the
Normal to see blood in urine after treatment for urinary blockage?26 Nov 2004 06:20 GMT4
my cat just came home after being treated for a urinary blockage. =(
he had a urinary catheter in for two days and is now on an antibiotic
and another medicine to help him urinate more easily.  he is urinating
very often (at least once every half hour) which the vet said to
Emergency Purrs, Please!25 Nov 2004 21:05 GMT29
My daughter just called me and she found a tiny kitten while walking to the
football game tonight. She says it is so little, and its eyes are completely
gooped shut. I told her I would take it to the vet first thing a.m. but in the
meantime, please purr purr purr this baby kitten is ...

It just seems like the appropriate time to thank everyone for the advice,
encouragement, and good wishes that you offered when I was concerned
about the health, adoption, and domestication of my new little buddy, "TK".
My cat's come back after 6 weeks!!! Yay!!!25 Nov 2004 13:05 GMT10
6 Weeks ago I went away for the weekend and came back to only one cat. Q (my
first & 13 years old) was nowhere to be seen and after a while I assumed
he'd gone somewhere to die quietly as he is not a wanderer at all.
Just pulled up and next door came out of their house "Guess who's ...
Antonio is back!!!25 Nov 2004 07:19 GMT12
Hi everyone!  This is truly the happiest day of my life!
My Antonio, a semi-feral foster that I adopted, had gotten out a little over
a month ago.  There had been no sign of him until two days ago, when my
neighbors spotted him near our condo's tennis courts. I had to stop setting ...
Urination Problem25 Nov 2004 03:34 GMT4
My wife's son is having a problem with his six year old, spade male cat. The
cat has infrequently peed on household furniture, leading to his father
(with whom he lives) to get very angry. They are to the point of putting the
cat down.
LiiterMaid/Litter Robot24 Nov 2004 17:34 GMT5
Have a LitterMaid Mega. Ctas use it and evn though it has it quirks I
can work with it. After a year it conked out. Pulled it apart and it
seems to work. Does anyone have a Litter Robot? If so how long have
you had it and any problems with it? Hopefully you have had it for
Why doesn't he knead?24 Nov 2004 14:51 GMT9
Francis, my approx. 4 month old kitten who was handed to me at 4 weeks
is the sweetest cuddliest little guy (when he's not dashing around
grabbing ankles and trying to bite), but he does not knead.  Sometimes I
see him curling his feet in pleasure, but that's it.
Update - Dilated Pupils FeLV kitten24 Nov 2004 14:19 GMT2
The vet saw Orange Glo today, who was neutered along with his littermates in
preparation of their transfer to their new homes.  She wasn't overly
concerned about the pupils because they did react to light, although not
quite normally.  Only thing she really advised was to keep a ...
My rationale for adopting and not breeding cats24 Nov 2004 01:17 GMT177
At one time in my life (while I was still a student, which is a *good many*
years ago), I thought I wanted to get a purebred cat.  I thought I would buy
one once I was established and could afford to buy a "good quality" kitten.
Well, I changed my mind once I began to read about ...
Missing Whiskers24 Nov 2004 01:07 GMT3
A stray kitten - about 4 mo. old male - has appeared at
my house. This one has some missing whiskers. His whiskers
on both sides are only about 1/4-1/2 inch long. Besides a
mischevious child with scissors, what might cause this?
W vs GW Wellness food23 Nov 2004 22:02 GMT36
Today I opened two cans of Wellness.  I noticed one can was gold, the other
silver and the consistancy of the food looked different.  The silver can
looked normal and smoother.  I checked the labels on the bottom and neither
of them appeared to have a GW.  The cats get a half can ...
Awesome scratching post!23 Nov 2004 21:17 GMT20
I saw a new scratching post at the place I buy Wellness. I was totally
blown away by it's look and the way it's made but I just couldn't afford
it right now. :-( Well, lo and behold a new client of mine was so happy
with my work she gave me a bonus to pay for the scratching post! I
