Is mayonnaise bad for cats?08 Oct 2004 12:45 GMT6
My year old cat got into some mayonnaise that was on the kitchen counter and
ate some of it.  About a hour after he ate the mayo, he threw up and you
could see some of the remnants of the mayo.
Is mayonnaise bad for cats?  I read the ingredients and they included dried
some cat questions08 Oct 2004 06:59 GMT6
i got Shaina spayed last week and she is doing fine.  more lively than
ever.  i was wondering if she needs a FRV/RTC yearly vaccination if
she is an indoor only cat?  the vets, at least the receptionists who
do the billing at that hospital, are very shifty.  they tried to add
Tiger's surgery today08 Oct 2004 03:32 GMT15
I brought Tiger back to the vet today to have her procedures done (ear
cleaning, teeth cleaning, removal of tumor).  She was not happy to be back
at the vet's.  While I was in the waiting room I took her out of her
carrier.  She was shaking, and just curled up in my lap and stayed ...
Please Help Cat Vomiting..08 Oct 2004 00:48 GMT8
Our 9 month old cat has started throwing up repeatedly in the
last 24 hrs.  The last time was just now.  Not sure what to do,  and
vets are expensive.  Has anyone dealt with this situation before?  For
now I will take his food for the day while I am at work and then try
Progress with Squeaky07 Oct 2004 22:29 GMT4
Squeaky spent the night in the house for the first time of his own free
will.
He slept on my bed using my shin for a pillow for a couple of hours.
That was wonderful. Then he moved to my kitchen chair for the rest of
Looking for cute cat and kitten fight-play video07 Oct 2004 19:02 GMT4
I am looking for a copy of an hilarious cat video that was emailed to
me a couple of years ago. In the video, a kitten is sitting up waving
his front paws, trying to get a a much older cat to play-fight. The
older cat just sat and waited until the kitten was almost too tired to
Kami is making me crazy!07 Oct 2004 08:53 GMT5
I've read this group long enough to have seen many posts about
senility.  I'm beginning to wonder if that's what I'm facing here.
Kami has taken to yowling almost non-stop.  I've investigated
everything she ordinarily is calling to mt attention when she does
OT- How to catch a wild goose??07 Oct 2004 04:55 GMT1
A goose found in a park has fish line wrapped around her legs. A few people
are trying to catch her (ie. feeding her bread and trying to get a net over
her). Any suggestions as to how they can catch her in order to free her
legs? Thanks in advance.
new cat feeding suggestions07 Oct 2004 04:13 GMT4
A question for Steve Crane, GAUBSTER2, and others:
I have adopted a young stray male cat.  He is indoor only.  Neutered
and in good health.  Probably not over a year old; still kind of
small.
Does your cat have a name for you?07 Oct 2004 01:16 GMT5
I do believe that my cat name is "Mra".
Cristobel says that when I come home after work and every now and then
during the day.
"Mra meow meow meow mew mew Mra, meow meow meow meow Mra".
Pouch foods06 Oct 2004 23:32 GMT9
Our cat seems to prefer the pouch food, possibly I think, because they seem
to have more juices and that seems to be what he goes after first. As soon
as we can take him off the Waltham's Renal LP, a pouch food, I want to find
some of the better brands that make a pouch. I've ...

down her throat as possible, but even then she's managed to spit a pill back
Don't want to declaw my cat06 Oct 2004 17:39 GMT16
I am currently living with my boyfriends parents, and we recently have
adopted a beautiful cat from the Humane Society.  Our cat is a female
tabby and she's perfect, except she scratches all our furniture.  I
cut her nails every week but it's not good enough she still uses
Tiger has a tumor06 Oct 2004 04:26 GMT8
I brought Tiger (female, 14 1/2 years old) & Otto (male, 5 years old) to the
vet on Friday.  I had felt a lump on Tiger's underside recently and wanted
to have her checked out.  I had been taking her to the same vet for the past
7 years but was never really happy with him, so I ...
Cat drinking fountains?06 Oct 2004 01:25 GMT13
I have 2 cats who are both coming up on 15 years old.  The Vet has
suggested that I try to get them to drink more water.  She suggested
possibly getting one of the cat drinking fountains that you see in pet
stores now.  Does anybodty have any experience with these?  Do they
