kitten eating question11 Oct 2004 00:26 GMT11
My wife and I recently got a second cat. He is a 3 month old kitten.
We noticed that his stool is very "thin", doesn't hold form and has very
foul smell. He eats only dry food for kittens.
Will this get better as he gets older? Should we change his dry food?
If any of you guys care...10 Oct 2004 23:44 GMT19

Growing wheat grass questions10 Oct 2004 23:41 GMT5
I bought some wheat grass seeds(wheat grass berries they call them) and some
4" clay pots. How many seeds can you put in a pot and how deep do you plant
them? How long will unused seeds stay good in the refrig. I've probably got
enough seeds to last quite a few years. Any tips ...

I posted 7 new photos, 3 of my monster kitty, Marbles, who is still
misbehaving.  He seemed as though he had improved but yesterday he went after
Scottie and today he went after Abbey.  Sigh.  Soon we're having a workshop
built onto our house, this fall, I hope, so that will open ...
your cat in 1 word10 Oct 2004 18:59 GMT65
I'm taking an animal behavior class right now, so I've been paying special
attention to my cat's behavior patterns. Cats are all so different! I think it
would be a fun experiment if people could pick one word to describe their cat
and post it here on the newsgroup. The trick is ...

Question about my vaccine related fibrosarcoma survivor kitty10 Oct 2004 12:19 GMT4
I got some great advice here last year when we discovered a large lump
in our 9 year old female cat. The lump turned out to be a
fibrosarcoma, but we found a great vet who did an awesome surgery.
She's now 1 year post op with no recurrence! That's the good news.
alpha cats10 Oct 2004 03:05 GMT14
how is the most dominant cat determined?  we had three adult cats, clearly
one was the most dominant (male), but he was nice, he usually let his
brother push him out of the way of his food, and take his toys, so he's
pretty laid back, but when he gets pissed, he turns loud and ...

Flea removal....I need help for my babies09 Oct 2004 07:43 GMT8
I have two cats (ages 3 and 2) and the poor babies have fleas for the
first time in their life. I have given them baths in flea shampoo

flea comb and put flea collars on them. I checked them today to see if
front leg amputation - the recovery09 Oct 2004 05:30 GMT10
One of my cats (possum.. 9yo male) had his right front leg amputated
this past tuesday.  He had a bone tumor, biopsy results today indicate
a spindle sell sarcoma, which seldom metastasizes (at least in cats),
so that's good news.

Cat doesn't like catnip08 Oct 2004 18:46 GMT2
I'd like to know if every cat should get a dose of catnip or ordinary grass
as a nutritional supplement.   I've tried putting some near my baby's
drinking bowl but she's never touched it.   Any suggestions of alternative
vitamin sources?  Would she suffer from any kind of ...
keeping houdini inside08 Oct 2004 14:14 GMT6
This new cat of mine is a real Houdini.
Last night he jumped up onto the window sill over my bed where I often
put a fan with the window open wide enough for the fan to pull in cool
air.  He knocked the fan off and then pushed the screen out in one
