To Kitty...  [W: Death]14 Sep 2004 22:24 GMT2
To Kitty, who was dead in the middle of the busy road this morning on my way
to work...
I hope you got out by accident and no one let you out knowing how close to a
major road they lived.

Hairball help14 Sep 2004 20:38 GMT7
Hey all,
My Mom has a longhaired cat named Louie. She told me yesterday that he's been
puking nearly every day and there's hair in it. She says she's been brushing
him and giving him his Laxatone, but he's still ingesting too much fur,
Hooray! Tucker's lost some weight!14 Sep 2004 20:34 GMT5
Just wanted to post an update on my overweight Tucker (under the post
of *sigh* Tucker's weight, again from a few weeks ago). I've been
talking with Megan, and switched him over to Wellness canned.
Convincing him to eat the canned after 6 years of dry has been slow

Amber is becoming a pain13 Sep 2004 18:59 GMT11
Amber is going to be ten next week.  She has just recently started a new
"habit".  It started about three weeks ago.  She comes into my room and
jumps up on my bed about 4:30 AM.  She then proceeds to slowly go up the
left side, across my pillow, down the right side and across my ...

3 month old kittens that turned out to be FeLV+

home, with the older kitten testing IFA+ a few
Shiny Poop13 Sep 2004 16:22 GMT7
Please forgive the graphic nature of this post, but I have a 6-month
old cat who doesn't cover his poop.  Lately I've noticed that his poop
has a wet and glossy sheen to it.  Not like diarrhea, his poops are
solid, but they appear very glossy, perhaps mucasy.  Might this
Tiger's poops13 Sep 2004 12:03 GMT3
Tiger's poops always seem to be "strung" together.  It must be
undigested pieces of oat grass that he likes to munch on.  Any other
ideas?

I have noticed that my cat, Lily, has some scabs on her chest and stomach.
I first noticed it last week when I was brushing her.  I found 1 scab on her
stomach, which I guessed was probably where she had scraped herself on
something.  The fur is so think on her underside that I ...

he had an urinary impaction and due to the fact that i don't have 800$ to pay
my own rent, let alone pay for surgery on MYSELF or a cat, we had to put him to

i am MISERABLE.
Lost Himmie found12 Sep 2004 15:50 GMT2
The kitty that my neighbors lost has been found - almost 3 weeks after
he disappeared!  He was quite far from where he was lost - someone
spotted him and his owner was able to coax him to her.  Yay!

Noisy cat...please help12 Sep 2004 14:35 GMT7
I have a 16 year old Siamese that has been a house cat since she was born.
She accidently got out and was left out alone for a few hours.  She's
decided that she prefers to be an outside cat.  This is not an option!  She
doesn't know what cars are etc and I live on a busy street. ...
When is it time?12 Sep 2004 06:30 GMT5
My fourteen year old Siamese has undergone biweekly chemotherapy for nasal
lymphoma since June.   In the beginning, she seemed to bounce back after
treatment: the positive effects now seem to become increasingly short lived.
I decided to forgo radiation treatment because the ...
