I'm feeling guilty, I've had my cat secluded to one room for 4 days now.  Here

Cat w/diarrhea - getting concerned15 Aug 2004 20:41 GMT7
Delilah has had this condition for just about 48 hours now.
Vet says unlikely from prednisone, more likely from an unsually stressful week
(at Neurologist Wednesday to find out about blindness and probably brain tumor

Cat's memory15 Aug 2004 13:34 GMT7
Ok, I'll get straight to the point, I won't bore you with a long
winded story.. :)
I'm about (hopefully) to be reunited with my cat after an 18-month
abscence (after owning him for 10 years).
The stray ....14 Aug 2004 22:39 GMT3
I posted a few weeks back about my absolute contempt for whoever dumped a
real sweet female cat in my neighborhood.
As it turns out, she now has a permanent home with the guy who lives behind
me. She wandered off and wasn't seen for a few days. I thought she had been
alternative contaception to spaying14 Aug 2004 22:38 GMT2
Hi, I'm just wondering if there are any alternatives to completely
desexing my kitten called Charla. Mum & Dad have told me that she has
to be desexed no matter what...but are there any other methods?  I've
read arguements for long-term health benefits of spaying, but I'm
neighbours cat messing in our garden14 Aug 2004 16:39 GMT3
Hi, Here in London u.k., people allow their cats out, and of course they
roam into other peoples' gardens. Our immediate neighbour has just acquired
a new kitten.
We have been told by someone that we should 'introduce' the cat to our
Feline Hyperesthesia13 Aug 2004 23:10 GMT1
Seems it is indeed a disorder and can have serious underlying
causes--including a brain tumor.

Donating CRF Supplies?13 Aug 2004 17:40 GMT6
Anyone know if there is a need and a procedure to donate cat CRF
supplies such as a case of Ringers, some common meds, etc to a needy
recipient ?  Sadly, they are no longer of use to our friend but we
thought they might help someone else's. Hate to just throw them out.
Shave the kitty!13 Aug 2004 13:26 GMT4
Ok, so I've decided to shave two of my kitties.
Problem is - they are not declawed (indoor only), never would I do such a
horrid thing to them! They never scratched or hurt anybody, they don't
destroy the house (other then the couch but I allowed them to do that in the
Two sets of opposing nails per toe???13 Aug 2004 08:47 GMT3
We have a cat who has regular nails at the top of his toes on his front
paws, and then a second set of nails going in the opposing direction on the
bottom of his toes (curling up from the pad). The bottom set is dark brown
and has no discernable point to indicate where they should ...
Update on Buddha13 Aug 2004 04:55 GMT4
My full-figured hyperthyroid tuxedo cat has been on Tapazole 10 mgs (.5
every twelve hours) for three weeks now and three days ago began showing
less interest in her food, which she formerly gobbled. This morning she had
to be dragged out from under a table to be pilled, then ...
Cat Forces Plane to Turn Back13 Aug 2004 04:27 GMT4
Hope this NY Times squib amuses somebody. They say cats don't like to
travel, I guess this is extreme feline aversion.
