cat grass30 Aug 2004 12:47 GMT4
Xena eats up my lemon grass.
Since our yard has been 'done' I had it mulched while I am deciding what to
plant and where. Meanwhile, the weeds are gone, and lemon grass (or what is
left of it) is the only grass. I have put some barley and wheatgrass seeds
The 'Dead' Cat30 Aug 2004 07:35 GMT53
For those of you who made such an emotional investment in replying to my
recent post regarding the semi - feral tom that visited my home last week,
here is an update and explanation for that post. Those of you who have
followed my recent posts about my own animals would have a ...
stupid, stupid neighbor30 Aug 2004 05:21 GMT18
Today I see a sign on the community mailboxes that says my neighbor
across the street was babysitting his friend's Himmie, and it has gone
missing.  They let the cat OUTSIDE and "now he hasn't come back for
two nights in a row".  The sign asks for any info.

cat plays hockey with dry food29 Aug 2004 22:27 GMT4
Sir Lancelot decided it is more fun to bat his chunks of food across
the floor than it is to eat them.... Now he does have lots of toys to
play with and 3 other cats. They sometimes will play with him and
sometimes they still don't want anything to do with him... I think
Glucosamine works for Meep!29 Aug 2004 19:36 GMT2
Hello.  Just thought I'd post this, in case anyone else was thinking
of supplementing with Glucosamine-Chonidriotion (probably spelled
wrong).  I'm using Drs Fosters and Smith "Joint Care", liver flavor
capsules, one per day, opened and sprinked on Meep's canned food.
Young Cats and Cancer29 Aug 2004 19:31 GMT4
Has anyone ever known a cat as young as 8 months to have cancer?
Adoption Events29 Aug 2004 18:30 GMT2
Sometimes I really hate when I have to go into PetsMart on some
Saturdays.  How do you keep yourself from adopting everything they
have?  I resisted, but it was hard.  There was a BEAUTIFUL silver lynx
point male there.  He was a jerk.  Liked all the petting except for
My brother, Henry29 Aug 2004 17:19 GMT7
I'm in northern IN visiting my mom now (from AZ, where I live).  This is the
first time I've met her kitty, Henry, my new brother.  She got him last
December.   He originally belonged to her hairdresser's daughter who had to get
rid of him (the old story) because she was getting ...
Tuesdays with Dorrie (Update)29 Aug 2004 13:42 GMT2
Everyone here was so kind when I posted two weeks ago--"Relocating
with an Old Cat."  Well, to make the story short, I couldn't go
through with it.  I couldn't put a cat so old through the pain of
moving from the mountains into an efficiency.
Microchipping29 Aug 2004 02:57 GMT12
I am contemplating getting my cats microchipped, on the off chance they
might get outside and become lost.  They are all indoor-only, one will dart
out the door occasionally, but he doesn't go far and I always get him back
in ASAP.  All but one have on collars with name tags.  The ...
