Has anyone ever heard of anybody who ever had a cat survive full blown FIP?
I'm in need of a miracle here.

Feral kitten and litter box01 Sep 2004 00:34 GMT30
Folks,
I am crossposting this to health+behavior and rescue.  I posted an
introduction about the feral kitten I'm suddenly responsible for on the
rescue group, but I now have a specific question that I would welcome

find a siamese cat-----please contact me!
We have a broken hearted lady here who's been trying to find a kitty
similar to her baby who died several months ago.
Kitten suckeling my ear31 Aug 2004 17:21 GMT6
A couple of monthes ago I got a kitten that was rescued from a freight yard. For
reasons that are irrelevent now I didn't bring it to the vet for ~3 weeks. Aside
from flies he was given a clean bill of health. The vet estimated at the time he
was 10 wks old at the time.
help, can't get rid of urine in high traffic area31 Aug 2004 17:13 GMT1
Urine in carpeted hall that connects kitchen/bath/livingroom.  It is impossible
to saturate with Nature's Miracle and leave it to dry.  I have to put plastic
sheeting over it to walk and I think this is causing the stain to spread.  Has
anyone been in a similar situation?
Jackie is home and seems ok31 Aug 2004 14:21 GMT11
Jackie is home after having all her teeth removed. Her mouth doesn't
stink anymore and she is eating the normal mush but I do crush it well
for her if it needs it. She always would eat almost any canned food
and is currently getting Wellness and Science Diet plus some Trader
What kind of cat to get?31 Aug 2004 06:59 GMT76
My husband and I are about ready to look for new kitties after
Victor's death a few months ago.  We know the basics, like not to look
for "lookalike" kitties...I was very disappointed with our other cat,
Ashley because she looked just like a greatly loved cat I had before
fur biting31 Aug 2004 01:05 GMT1
I have a small tabby female who keeps biting / scratching at the base of her
tail so that only very short fur grows there. She is a nervous cat but sat
steadfastly on the feet of my husband when he died recently,up until the
very time he was buried.
Need recommendation for animal advocate31 Aug 2004 00:01 GMT2
A good friend has a predicament.  She has two cats and her condominum complex
says one cat.  She will be fined $200 a month.  She wants to move but wants to
find out if she has any legal recourse.  Other tenants have big dogs but I
guess the bylaws state one cat and she has two.  ...
Rescued cat, angry neighbour30 Aug 2004 23:19 GMT37
For the past month there had been a new cat hanging around the outside of
our house.  He would spend long days sleeping in our garden and was even
around at nighttime.  I enquired with a neighbour friend and they told me
that a lady who was renting a basement apartment in the house ...
A sad anniversary30 Aug 2004 23:02 GMT5
It was five years ago today that my tuxedo cat IKE left the house and
never returned.  The house is surrounded by dense woods and undergrowth
so there was no way to search for him.  I "replaced" Ike with Tiger
about a week later.  Neither Tiger or Amber go out.  They have never
Fare thee well30 Aug 2004 21:40 GMT12
I took my 10-year old boy, Yoda,  to the vet yesterday for the second time in a
week.  He subsequently went into respiratory failure and died.  Although he had
been ill for about two weeks, it took both the vet and myself by surprise.
This is my tribute to my friend:
Older Cat not going all the way into the littler box.30 Aug 2004 21:10 GMT5
The last few days my 14 year old cat to which has been fixed years ago
has started to not go all the way into the potty box and he sprays out
onto the papers I have under the box.  He has always gone in the box
before but now he doesn't hit the box very much.  I have a plastic sheet

Strange new smells causing litterbox problems?30 Aug 2004 18:53 GMT7
Yesterday was my first day volunteering at an animal sanctuary. They
have tigers, cougars, a black bear, etc... Overall a great experience,
but it left me coming home with LOTS of new smells on me that my cat has
never smelled before.
