advice?

our 6 year old cat has just started peeing just outside of the litter box
(misses by about 3 inches);  has only been doing this for about a month;
what can i do to get her to pee in the box again?  any ideas on what might
have caused the change?  same cat box, same place, same ...
How can I make my cat more comfortable?13 Jul 2004 15:55 GMT3
My cat had a corneal ulcer (now healed) and has a sequestrum (becoming
thinner) this year. Last week he started sneezing and, although the
vet hasn't committed herself to a diagnosis, I'm assuming that the
most likely reason for this is FHV.
More Kami Labs13 Jul 2004 15:29 GMT7
Kami went for her first visit with the new vet today.  They did her
brloodwork in 20 minutes, which is really cool (though they have to
send out the thyroid test and that will be back Monday).  She's
actually doing pretty good.  I thought since she has been on somewhat
Hypercalcemia - repost due to editing error in previous message13 Jul 2004 11:35 GMT4
t has been several years since I have posted to these two newsgroups but I
have continued to lurk on and off. My one 6 year old kitty after a full panel
had a full panel down last Thursday and I received the results on Friday.
All values were normal except Calcium at 14.4 mg/dL ...
Rescued Kitty with Eye Problems13 Jul 2004 02:31 GMT2
A friend of mine has adopted a stray kitten.  When she found the kitten it
had a horrible infection for which she is now giving her antibiotics.  Also,
one of the kitten's eyeballs is extremely swollen (bulging out of the
socket) and the pupil is dilated.  Per her vet's instructions ...
Tiger's diarrhea13 Jul 2004 01:24 GMT2
Tiger's ultra soft poops were not getting better so I figured the
Acidolphulis was no longer potent.  Sunday I bought a new jar (which was
kept in the health food store refrigerator).  That afternoon I added
some to the food.  This evening he presented me with a perfectly formed
how to introduce?12 Jul 2004 19:40 GMT1
I moved into a room in a house a little over a week ago, bringing two cats,
a small older (13+yrs) male and a slightly larger (8yrs) female, but still
not large (and both fixed). My cats are 'nice' - not fighters at all or the
kind to automatically challenge other cats. The owner of ...
Need to know if a cat has had kittens12 Jul 2004 19:02 GMT7
We found a stray kitten, who I think is pregnant. Her belly feels
pretty big to me, but my husband says he can't feel any kittens in her
and he thinks she may have already had kittens, because there's a lot
of swelling around her nipples. I'd like to keep her here, but if
Stinky Kitten Question12 Jul 2004 15:09 GMT3
Our kitten, (Augie, siamese, 13 wks.) has some stinky poop! I cannot
describe just how horrible it smells. It permeates through the house
and Augies fur and but. Yuck. The smell is made worse since Augie has
mild Cerebellum Hyperplasia (crazy motor function and balance

And *finally*, I can PET Antonio, a.k.a. Puss 'n' Boots (can't stop calling
him Puss 'n' Boots since we saw Shrek 2).
Antonio is almost 1 year old now.  He came here as a very scared semi-feral
foster.  At first, he would run from us if we even looked at him.  We then
sick cat(s?) in mall pet shop/other pet shop q12 Jul 2004 07:10 GMT9
Today I was in Rockingham (Park?) Mall, in Salem, NH.  As is my
wont, I had to go see if there were any kittens.  (No, I was not
looking to buy one there; I now know a) that they generally come
from kitten mills; and b) there are lots of cats out there that
World's best litter12 Jul 2004 04:04 GMT3
I've switched to this expensive litter from Swheat Scoop because of dust and
the worry about it being an allergen for one of my kitties.
Just to let you all know, my local petsmart, and perhaps all of them, has
dropped the price on the big bag to $13.99.

Suggestions on kitten food?12 Jul 2004 00:57 GMT2
Does anyone have any suggestion on kitten food that might be particularly
appealing to kittens? Sammy's brood is coming up on 4 weeks old this Sunday.
All seem to have a complete set of baby teeth formed at this time. Four of
the six babies will drink milk mix from a flat bowl ...
