Cat hooked on hairball remedy treats?15 Jul 2004 08:55 GMT1
A few months ago, I began giving my cat chicken flavored Purina Frisky
hairball treats.  He is no longer showing symptoms of hairballs, but the
problem now is that he seems to have gotten hooked on the treats.  He
asks for them constantly and if I let him have his way, he will go ...
Shadow RB15 Jul 2004 04:34 GMT28
I emailed many of you, and in another group. Shadow passed away today
after 2 years since his IBD diagnosis, and FeLV contraction. This
morning his stomach or something burst and he vomited blood and clots
and mucous. It seemed to come out of the blue since he seemed fine

Royal Canin customer service14 Jul 2004 23:31 GMT8
I have been writing Royal Canin now for 3 months trying to get them to
carry the Mane Coon food at the Petsmart near me. I kept being told it
will be there, or it is there now - and it was not - ithere would be
everything but the Mane Coon.

I have a 4 1/2 month old female kitten that's been with me for six weeks.
Aside from coming home with a tapeworm, which has now been eliminated, she
seems the picture of health.  Enormous appetite, weed-like growth, and
possessed of astonishing energy and strength (she'll jump 5 ...
Cats and Dried Pasta Play14 Jul 2004 23:07 GMT2
I was just thinking I should share this with you cat lovers.  Our cat
Ginger is about 11, we adopted her when she was 1.5.  One day early
on, I was making Ziti, and decided to give her a piece of the uncooked
stuff to bat around the wood floors.  She loved it so much, that the
Question on adding a new cat to already catted household14 Jul 2004 20:01 GMT4
Here's the situation:
Last September I lost my 18 1/2 year old after a long battle with CRF
and just last month I lost my 16 1/2 year old to heart disease.  This
leaves me with my 4 year old tabby tomcat who made "OK" through the loss

Shitty Kitty Update14 Jul 2004 15:54 GMT194
Odin, my six month old cat, had been doing bowel movements on the tile
floor in my bathroom every day since the day I got him from a shelter
when he was 4 months old.
I tried everything you can think of to change this behavior.

So she is needing:

Catwoman14 Jul 2004 09:11 GMT14
I just saw an interview with Halle Berry in regards to the movie Catwoman.
Interestingly she said that she hates cats yet she had to live with one in
order to prepare for the movie. She felt cats were too independent and aloof
and that she has dogs. In the same interview she said ...
Cat Urine Removal14 Jul 2004 05:11 GMT3
I have looked on 5 different newsgroups related to cats for advice. I
found one thread with one reply that seemed more of a suggestion than
personal experience. If anyone one knows of a newsgroup that is or has
recently discussed removing cat urine, I'd love to know about it ...

The female Pretzel I can handle as she is only my friend when I feed
her: however, Squeaky, the male, seems to have some fascination in
climbing onto my shoulders and sucking my ear lobes- is this some sort
Introduction continues.. success and not.. behavior questions14 Jul 2004 01:45 GMT1
Well, the new kitty's been getting very agitated being kept in one
room all the time, so I've been closing off the current cats and
letting him wander. This makes the current cats agitated.
After a few days of letting them sniff each other through partially
