Annie/Marbles/Riley Update-long03 Jul 2004 05:57 GMT7
I spent all day at work today doing absolutely nothing work-related but
emailing incessantly with 4 different people about Annie, Marbles, and Riley.
This is the situation now and I know it is not what some people suggested and,
yes, I do feel bad in some ways:

feeding strays03 Jul 2004 05:41 GMT19
I have a momma and baby kitty living in the brushy area over my back fence.
There's  a good bit of area back there with lots of birds, lizards, and
mice. (I've seen all 3).  Problem is tonight I put food out because they
looked a little thin and they came and enjoyed.  If all I ...
Diagnosing a vomiting cat03 Jul 2004 05:30 GMT3
My 10 year old cat has been having problems with vomiting up bile for
a long time now. There doesn't seem to be any pattern to his vomiting
but it seems like that's all he does. He doesn't have any loss of
appetite and in fact, he's always hungry. The vet instructed me to
Jackie Cat is Leaking a bit...02 Jul 2004 21:58 GMT12
Not good I would think. She (12yo sickly cat ~ 5 lbs) had solid poops
when I got her but then she went on antibiotics and gained 7/10 lb in
a month. She got diarrhea after going on the antibiotics and I figured
it would go away once she was off them. But she's been off them for
Addeding a litterbox seems to have solved pee problem02 Jul 2004 18:41 GMT4
I posted a while back about Tycho (18) and Ginger (11) peeing outside
their boxes on occasion.  We have 2 litterboxes in our office room on
the upstairs level of the house.  The inappropriate pee was in that
same room, and also in our living room downstairs.  I finally caved in
New pics soon - I promise...02 Jul 2004 18:36 GMT3
Things are getting pretty busy around here. We're contemplating a move to
Indianapolis soon and I've been over there doing the advance details for a
few days. I interviewed yesterday for a transport driver's job for Ganassi
Racing handling the duties for one of their Indy Racing ...
Girl Rescues 3 Kittens From Latrine02 Jul 2004 18:13 GMT15
It happened in Bellaire, Kansas, and is on the CNN site, as a video only at
the moment. Somebody needs to send this girl some flowers. At least.
Mosquito dunks and cats?02 Jul 2004 13:10 GMT3
I have a ditch behind my house which collects standing water (the city
doesn't seem to want to solve the problem) and a HUGE mosquito problem.  I
also have a number of feral cats, raccoons, skunks, possums, etc. in the
area that I do not wish to harm with chemicals.
SICK KITTY!  Need some advice.02 Jul 2004 09:10 GMT10
Our 5 year old spayed orange kitty has lost weight recently.  This has
happened in the past and we are able to help her through it.  Vets can't
attribute this to any virus and point to a possible infection.  (She has a
cyst in her sinus which causes problems at times.)  When this ...
Update - Hushpad, bad news02 Jul 2004 05:40 GMT88
Why, oh why, can't people follow directions?
The family that adopted Hushpad also have a lab (dog, not chemistry lab).  I
really did not forsee a problem with Hushpad and a dog, particularly a
large, friendly one.  Plus, the people went on about how they would probably
Newbe here with a question on cats health02 Jul 2004 04:15 GMT28
Hi folks, have a question on our cats health and this looked like a good
place for some opionions. We have had this cat for about 6 years. Found this
palm sized fur ball in our flower garden one drizzley morning about 6 years
ago. It is strictly an inside cat, never goes outside and ...
bringing a new kitten02 Jul 2004 02:37 GMT21
my roommate is planning to get a kitten soon.  i was going to get
Shaina a friend myself, but i can't afford that now, so naturally, i
was all excited about that.  the problem is that the kitty his is

Buddha and the Feather Duster02 Jul 2004 02:09 GMT5
Making breakfast for the girls this morning, I looked down and only saw one
intent fact staring up at me when I popped the lid. I put the food down.
Before I had time to look for her, Buddha jumped up on the table, pounced on
the feather duster, and she, it, and the whole mess ...
kitten sticks her face into ALL foods02 Jul 2004 00:43 GMT5
Shaina is 2.5 months now and in excellent health.  she now eats all
cat foods i give her and also cottage cheese.  but it's impossible to
leave a cup of any liquid, or a plate of anything that's within her
reach because she will try to drink or eat it.  iced-tea is her
