We Gotz Baybeez!!!15 Jun 2004 03:54 GMT31
I'm hoping that 5 new kittens is the final count. All healthy, active, noisy
and feeding well.
For some reason, my wife, Heidi, couldn't sleep last night and was up at
3am. I was watching the 24 Hours of LeMans coverage and was still up
What to use for urine pH testing?15 Jun 2004 03:36 GMT3
I am trying to monitor Farfou's urine pH.
What would be the best method and where can I buy the device/strips or
...?
I found at Petco a mid-range (6.2 -6.8) pH indicator, but it is for
kitty doing better15 Jun 2004 03:32 GMT5
thanks everyone for your help with my Shaina!
she is doing much better now and is all lively and responsive.  her
gums are still pale though.  still, i wonder why she doesn't care for
play.  she chases a string for a little while, or bats it around, but
Why Does Buddha Eat Cobwebs?15 Jun 2004 03:16 GMT20
I realize that this says something about my housekeeping, but I catch her at
this in my office all the time. I recall reading that spiderwebs were used
in healing by Native Americans at some point. I've never had a cat that does
this, anyone else?
A new cat with two existing?15 Jun 2004 01:39 GMT2
We have two female cats, a 1 year old and a 2 year old living in a
townhouse.  Both cats get along with each other fine.  We are getting
a roommate for the summer (3 months) who has a cat.  The new cat is
also female and 4 years old.
Fixed cat still trying to mate?14 Jun 2004 23:04 GMT2
We have a fixed male cat who is now a bit over a year old. Very often
we will catch him trying to mate(?) with one of our other male cats
who is also fixed and about 6 years old. He gets onto the other cats
back and starts to purr, kneed him and bite his upper neck area. When
Sammy... grumpy bitch... good reason.....14 Jun 2004 20:39 GMT2
Sammy is due to deliver her litter any day now. Her activity has slowed down
to the most important elements - eating and sleeping. She definitely is
appreciative of companionship, seeking me out and using the head butt to get
me started scratching her head and rubbing her grossly ...

Cats won't eat medicated food14 Jun 2004 12:25 GMT34
One of my two cats has been urinating just outside the litter box, so the
vet suggested they be tested for crystals in the urine. It seems they both
have crystals, so the vet prescribed medicated food to help treat the
crystals. I started feeding the food last night, and neither cat ...
Tooth Brushing14 Jun 2004 04:24 GMT24
As stated in the past, I had great luck with my cat Gnarly who lived to be
20 and had every tooth when she finally died. I never had her teeth cleaned
at all. She never had a day of sickness in her life. No, her breath was not
sweet.
Feline Leukemia14 Jun 2004 04:03 GMT4
If anyone out there has any words of wisdom or last minute treatment
attempts for a cat with this illness please respond. My cat Putter
probably contacted the disease last year but was not officially
diagnosed until last month after experiencing complications due to

I told you my cat (3.5 years) started pooping outside the box about 2 months
ago.  She only did it downstairs in the back room where 1 box is (2 more are

so i had some concerns earlier about my kitten not eating, but she
